Butterfield Bed and Breakfast

  • Inn Details

An added treat to your visit to this tiny hamlet is a memorable stay at Butterfield Bed and Breakfast. Five guest rooms; Stanza Italia, Country Corner, FeatherNest, Apple Sweet in the main inn, each with private bath and two with a fireplace, and our RoseBud Cottage with a woodburning stove, all create a cozy get-a-way. You begin your day with an elegant breakfast served in the garden gazebo or patio in the summer, or the parlor with its crackling fireplace when the chill of winter sets in. You end your day with homemade dessert in the parlor. You can spend your day enjoying the Julian countryside or just relaxing with a good book from our library out under the oaks in the fresh country air. Butterfield Bed and Breakfast has been awarded a 3-Diamond Rating by AAA.

My wife and I stayed at Butterfield B&B last summer for our first annivesary weekend. It is set on a quiet natural, but groomed piece of land with plenty of outdoor space for all the guests. There were plenty of snacks available and breakfast was perfect. Ed and Dawn maintained a very friendly, but professional relationship with us and the other guests, carefully selecting "community times" and sensing when we would want our privacy. They were also very patient with us as we adjusted our reservations to fit our budget. We plan to return for sure!
