Located one block off Tomales Bay in the heart of the Point Reyes National Seashore, Ten Inverness Way is a 1904 craftsman era home known as the inn for hikers and readers. The inn provides five guestrooms. All accommodations have queensize beds and private baths, some with daybeds. After a day's hike guests gather in an inviting large living room with stone fireplace. Fresh baked cookies and tea are provided in the afternoon. Guests can enjoy complimentary wine and cheese in the evenings. A hot homemade breakfast is served each morning.

Terri was great, the breakfast was freshly made and delicious and the room was just perfect, not sure we could have asked for more, even the location was pretty central to Point Reyes.

Good location for visiting the park. Not hard to find in the dark. Convenient computer room and printer for printing boarding passes! Owner gave us a great restaurant recommendation near the San Francisco airport. Room had a nice window seat.

Like the option of not having to have breakfast and saving a little money.

This is the best place to stay in the Pt Reyes area, especially if you like the quietness of the sitting room and the hospitality of the innkeeper. The breakfast is amazing and the afternoon wine and cheese is the best. Do yourself a favor and visit.

The inn is surrounded by exhuberant gardens demonstrating Teri's greenthumb. Most breakfasts incorporate fruits, vegetables, herbs and eatible flowers grown on-site. An ecclectic, well stocked library provides guests with hours of great reading. Ask Teri to share her hiking expertise and PRNS knowledge with you.
