Everything you imagined and more. Elegant, high ceilinged rooms graced with heirloom antiques, artworks and objects d'art. Relax with a complimentary beverage in front of the Moss Rock fireplace or watch the sunset or the glorious vineyards from the deck. We are pleased to provide information about wineries, restaurants, ballooning, cycling, canoeing, and other recreational activities. And the little things too, so that you spend your time enjoying your days and luxuriating in your nights. It's easy when you have goose down comforters, fine linens, bath robes, private baths, TV with VCR, Jacuzzi tubs, fireplaces, and phones, of course, not to mention the tantalizing aromas that waft up to your room each morning as your superb Sonoma breakfast is being prepared.

Lovely hosts, delicious breakfast, comfortable room (The Italian), beautiful deck, and cute llamas!
4.4 out of 5Excellent Healdsburg B&B

Rooms and house were well kept. Jerry and Harold were very accommodating hosts and made our visit to the region really special. I am typically not a person that stays at B&B's, but given this past experience, I will definitely go this route again. I would recommend Bella Villa Messina to anyone visiting the area.
4.6 out of 5Great base for Dry Creek & Alexander Valley wine discovery
May 06, 2013
Bella Villa Messina is a great place to stay if you're exploring the wineries of Dry Creek or Alexander Valleys, or just want to relax and enjoy the many shops and restaurants in the Healdsburg area. Harold and Jerry are fine hosts, making everyone feel welcome and making your stay comfortable. Their gourmet breakfasts and evening cocktail hour are not to be missed. Even the many antiques and works of art displayed in the house are amazing. Jerry is a great source of information about the area wineries, and you'll get personalized recommendations that are always on target. He knows the area and the people, and is well enough connected to make sure his guests are treated in first class style. The house itself, and the rooms, are well equipped, spacious and comfortable. There's plenty of room to spread out inside or out on the patio, and the views from every side are breathtaking. In short, if you're staying in the Healdsburg area, this is the place to be.

Loved our stay at Bella Villa Messina. We went there to spend the weekend in the wine country for our 30th wedding anniversary. Their home is beautiful and filled with interesting antiques. We stayed in the Italian room and it was spotless. The wine/cheese in the evening and the breakfast in the morning was fantastic. Jerry is the consummate host and made our whole stay memorable. Jerry is very knowledgeable about the area and gave us some great recommendations for dining and wine tasting. Next time we go to Healdsburg, we will look no further than Bella Vista Messina. They make you feel like royalty.

Ever since we first discovered Bella Villa Messina 3 years ago, we've come back to stay there twice a year. The breakfasts are fabulous, the rooms are always clean, the beds are comfy (the sheets smell divine), and the delicious aromas of your breakfast will gently wake you up in the morning. In the evening, the hosts (Jerry and Harold), serve Sonoma wine and "nibbles" as the sun goes down. (You won't believe the beautiful colors painted by the sunset coming through the panoramic windows of the dining room.) And Jerry is extremely knowledgeable about all the wineries in Sonoma and he can help you plan your day, loan you a small cooler for picnic lunch (which you can pick up at Big John's Market), and provide you with a map and cards that will get you a free tasting.
