Our lush and fragrant English-style garden provides a tranquil setting for romance, rest, and quiet conversation in this peaceful coastal village—just 28 miles South of San Francisco. The Inn is furnished with antiques, custom pieces, fine art, and the innkeepers’ original "plein air" oil paintings. Seven uniquely decorated guest rooms each include a queen bed with featherbed, down comforter and sumptuous freshly-ironed all-cotton linens, private bath, free in-room Wi-Fi, and cable TV/VCR. Some rooms feature luxurious whirlpool tub-for-two, and/or cozy fireplace. Afternoon wine & cheese and delicious gourmet full breakfast.     From either North or South, take highway 101 or 280 to Highway 92 West (toward Half Moon Bay). After you go over the "mountain" and come down the valley into town, turn left at the first traffic light, Main Street, (Shell gas station on corner) and go 8 blocks, look for the Inn on the left. If you're on the Coastal Highway (Hwy 1) go toward Highway 92, turn East on it, go to first light, Main Street, and turn South 8 blocks to the Inn. If you get lost, give us a call at (650) 726-1616.

  • Directions from airport:
    *****San Francisco Int'l (SFO) - 22 miles (35 minutes if it's not rush hour): exiting airport onto Hwy 101 toward San Francisco (north) stay to right, almost immediately get on Hwy 380 West to San Bruno, stay in the left lane and in a couple miles get on Hwy 280 South to San Jose, go 10 miles or so and watch for signs to Hwy 92 West (Half Moon Bay). Take 92 into town to Main street, turn left and look for the inn on the left after about 8 blocks. *****San Jose Int'l (SJC) - 45 miles (50 minutes if it's not rush hour): when exiting the airport, follow signs to Hwy 101 North, stay on 101 till you see signs for Hwy 92 West, Half Moon Bay. Stay on 92 till you come into town, look for Main Street, turn left and look for the Inn on the left about 6 blocks later.

    Our full, hot breakfast is served every morning in the dining area.  Orange juice, fresh fruit, your choice of hot beverage, home-baked cakes or muffins, and a delectable main course that is different each day.Garden Room - our finest and most spacious, with a private entrance and cathedral ceiling. Featuring a four-poster queen bed with Yves Delorme duvet cover and shams, all cotton linens, fireplace, TV/VCR, CD stereo, fridge, and our full breakfast served at the table by the window, overlooking our herb and flower garden.  A delightful getaway!
    Garden Room - here's an example of the full, hot breakfast we'll serve you right in your room.  Wrap up in one of our luxurious robes, light the fire, put on some good music, and enjoy.Garden Room -- whirlpool tub-for-two.  What a great way to relax and soak away your cares.  We provide organic bath salts, to make the tubbing experience even more comforting.
    Thyme Room - antique hand-carved queen bed with featherbed, Yves Delorme duvet cover and shams, and crisply pressed all-cotton linens.  Room also features fireplace and whirlpool tub-for-two.  Stylish comfort.Mint Room - one of our largest, with custom-designed four-poster queen bed, Yves Delorme duvet cover and shams and all-cotton linens.  Fireplace sets the mood for relaxation or romance.
    Rosemary Room - antique hand carved queen-size bed with featherbed, Yves Delorme duvet cover and shams, and fresh-pressed all cotton linens.  Looks out on garden, with window boxes full of flowers, two person whirlpool tub in bathroom.  Soooo romantic!Oregano Room -- French antique queeen bed with Yves Delorme duvet cover and shams, all cotton linens, 7 lace-covered windows overlooking our herb and flower garden, clawfooted bathtub with shower.  A wonderful sunny room.
    Chamomile Room - cozy and romantic, featuring a clawfooted bathtub with European-style hand-held shower, Yves Delorme duvet cover and shams, all cotton linens, and Kathy's original oil panintings gracing the walls.Lavender Room - Comfortable queen-size bed with Yves Delorme duvet cover and shams and all cotton linens.
