We made last minute reservations as we couldn't get in to our usual B&B and were extremely happy. They thought of everything and I mean everything! We will definitely be going back and recommending to our friends. The Inn actually DOES look like the pictures, unlike other websites that like to embellish, this one is the real thing, what you see is what you get. You won't be disappointed.

We stayed here for our anniversary. Rooms are really very nice and charming. I like the fact that there are lots of extras that are included in the base price. The Inn is walking distance to the beach and to downtown Half Moon Bay. There is extensive info about dining and the innkeeper gave us excellent recommendations for dinner.

We had never stayed at a bed & breakfast before and chose one from the bedandbreakfast.com site. The only one available for a last minute getaway was Mill Rose Inn. The inkeepers were very friendly, very accommodating, & very informative. They provided almost everything you could think of in the rooms and in the community areas. The room was very quaint with a gas fireplace. The had a private hottub in an enclosed gazebo. It was a very romantic area. In the morning they provided breakfast at 8 or 9 in your room or in the dining area. It was a very delicious breakfast, It was the best experience for first timer.

This is a wonderful retreat place. Only blocks from town yet a world away from the hustle and bustle. The gardens are beautiful and lovely. Terry, the owner, gave us superb attention. He made dinner reservations and reserve our time in the jacuzzi spa quickly and was very responsive to our requests. We stayed in the Baroque Rose Room and it was lovely--filled with antiques. The in room decanters of brandy and sherry is a great touch. The sherry was yummy--especially after a long day of sightseeing and walking about the town.

My wife booked the Mill Rose Inn for a couple of nights, just for a weekend getaway. Didn't know what to expect, as soon that you walk into the gate you can see the passion of the Innkeepers because its like walking into a rose paradise. Terry is a caring very professional person,he will cater to any whim that you wish very accommodating. Lewis Louro We met Eve the next day what a lovely lady full of elegance with her hats, her cookies and slice of cakes that you can consume anytime are better than any dessert that you buy at restaurants, fresh and full of flavor. The gourmet breakfast that is served downstairs or room service by Terry is fantastic, rooms are very cozy and brilliant decorated for its age. There is wine and sherry all over the place I'm sure they are trying to get you drunk to have a good time, but there is no need because you have a private spa that you can have with your loved one, or spend time on a rainy day like we did watching hundreds of movies provided by Terry free of charge. We will be staying again.

We had a lovely 2 night stay at the Mill Rose Inn. The gardens were lovely during the day and just as pretty at night, being illuminated by thousands of tiny lights. The breakfast was excellent and was served in a beautiful breakfast room facing the gardens. The innkeepers were very hospitable and provided cheese trays upon request, homemade fresh cookies and cake available all day in the dining room, complimentary brandy and liqueur, plenty of bottled water, candies in the room, everything you can think of to make your stay even more enjoyable. Of all the B&B's we've stayed, this one was above and beyond our expectations.
