Accomodations were okay and pretty much what we expected for the price. Having a room near the garbage dumpsters was somewhat bothersome.

Innkeeper Response

Just for clarification the Inn does not have dumpsters on the property. We use household size waste containers that have tight fitting covers, are on wheels, and are supplied by Waste Management. We would have been happy to move the waste containers if our guests had told us that they where a problem.

During my stay at the Country Inn, I was able to taste 12 beers within a few blocks of my bed, wake up to ridiculously tasty huervos rancheros at a leisurely hour (9:15AM) and still make it to Big River for an afternoon of kayaking by 11:30. I... read more

We had a lovely time here. Great location and the inn-keeper was always there if we needed her. Something to comment on though. The walls are very thin. But overall, a good experience.
