The main route to and from our area is U.S. Highway 101 which parallels the Pacific Ocean. Further inland, Interstate 5 takes you up California's central valley, and provides access to the coast via Highway 299 at Redding and Highway 199 at Grants Pass, Oregon.
From The South To The Inn:
Take the coastal route, Scenic Highway 1, from the San Francisco Bay Area. You should allow yourself eight to ten hours, but the trip is certainly worth it! You might even consider stretching out your drive over two days, staying overnight somewhere along the coast on your way north. Highway 1 reaches Highway 101 south of Garberville and The Avenue Of The Giants. Continue north on Highway 101 and take the Fernbridge/Ferndale exit. Across the Fernbridge and after five miles, you arrive at the Inn, which is on the right hand side of Main Street. Drive up to the parking area and...voila...here you are!
From The North or East:
Coming from either Portland on Highway 101 or heading west on Highway 299, you travel towards Eureka. Pass Eureka and continue south to the Fernbridge/Ferndale exit. From there, the trip is just the same!!

Named after Admiral Lord Collingwood, eggs collingwood are poached eggs on top of fresh polenta, tomatoes, green onions on an english muffin and are topped with our famous rosemary-chive-coriander sauce bearnaise. Sides include coconut shrimp, crabcakes and edible flowers. All ingredients are organic and come from local farms/dairies.

- Consumption of alcohol is permitted (A selection of wine and port available.)
- Deposit amount required (Prepayment is required to make a reservation and will be charged to the credit card at the time of the written confirmation of the reservation.)
- Check in time is 4:30 pm and Check out time is 11 am
- Cancellations:
Our administrative fee for ALL cancellations is $25.00. A refund LESS cancellation fee is issued if cancellation occurs 14 days or more before the scheduled date of arrival (21 days for special events and/or holidays and groups). Reservations cancelled LESS than 14 days of the scheduled date of arrival the reservation prepayment is NON-REFUNDABLE. We reserve the right to offer a non-expiring gift certificate for the full amount. "No-Show" guests and "early departures" are considered cancellations within the non-refundable period.
