    The Fairplay Wine Appellation is the cornerstone to this room. We are the heart and soul of lodging in El Dorado County's Wine Country. Enjoy the excitement of the full body shower with the seven shower heads. The Rain floods you head to toe while the 4 side body heads cascades over your muscels for that full body shower message effect. Your own private wine bar lets you sample your favorite wines from your day wine tasting. While settling into bed for a relexing nights sleep on the over stuffed matteress in king size bed, you can star gaze throught the skylight.

    This room is named after a beautiful German girl,it brings Europe to Fairplay. The rich colors and Old World decor bring European charm. The tile soaking tub makes one dream of Ancient Roman Baths. The arches feel as though you are washing in the canals of Venice. Reading on spool bed in the arched window you feel the mystery of an Agatha Christy novel. The Beate allows guests traveling together who want luxury, but are on a budget. The main sleeping area and the bathroom have a private door; this allows private access to the bath.

    Relax in the whirpool tub. The 2 sided see through firplace creates excitement as you relax in the sitting area viewing a new release DVD or VHS. The pine wood floors were milled from the Ponderosa Pines harvested from this property. We milled, planed and molded every piece of wood used in this room ourselves. The deck is protected from the sun by a majestic oak tree; you feel as though you are in a tree house. The quite seclusion affords you the opportunity to clear your mind of all cares and concerns. RELAX. RELAX.

About 3 miles (gas station on left)turn left onto Fair Play Rd. About 200 yards -- at Piorneer Park & Fair Play Wineries Sign-- turn left onto Perry Creek Rd. We are 0.8 miles on the right. From the east take Pollack Pines / Sly Park Rd. exit. Go under the freeway and go about 15 miles and turn left onto Mt. Aukum Rd. That corner is where the Holiday Market and Ace Hardware are. Then follow the directions stated above once on Mt. Aukum Rd. to Fair Play Rd. You go straight at the 4 way stop, mentioned above.

    We stayed two nights in the Beate suiteand thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Cindy is very welcoming and the Inn is set up very well. The location is perfect for wine tasting and the grounds are beautiful. We will definitely be back soon!!

    Our stay at Lucinda's Inn in Fair Play CA was the highlight of our weekend visiting the wineries there. The Vineyard Suite was very spacious and comfortable; breakfast and the afternoon wine and hors d'oeuvres were great. Cindy was extremely helpful suggesting wineries that we would enjoy and great dinner locations. We will definitely return!

    What a find!!! The rooms, food and service far exceeded our expectations and the location was perfect. While we were hesitant because of the price, the price is appropriate given the whole package. We intend to go back.

    This was a great stay. When we arrived, Cindy opened a bottle of wine and served some hot appetizers. We sat on the back deck enjoying these along with classical music in the background. Our room was spacious and very clean. It had all the amenities to make our stay feel special and pampered. Our private porch was a great place to enjoy a quiet and beautiful sunset. Breakfast was buffet-style and delicious. We walked to the back of the property and hiked up Perry Creek, which was very special. The bottom line ... we will definitely be back. It was our best stay in the area in years!
