Built in 1916, The Harbor House Inn is the "belle" of the Redwood Empire standing vigil on a rocky cliff overlooking Greenwood Cove with its spectacular rock formations and powerful, ever changing sea. Pathways meander through magnificent gardens with private seating and vistas that lead to our private beach below. The drama continues throughout the Inn's ten guestrooms, its stately sitting room and breathtaking ocean view dining room. The Inn features classic and antique furnishings, fireplaces, decks and private baths. A full breakfast and four course dinner is included and is prepared fresh daily from local farms and the sea. Distinctive prix-fixe menus featuring fresh, California cuisine have created a culinary jewel in the small village of Elk. Wine Spectator "Award of Excellence".
