I stayed in the little cottage with 2 friends, and it was such a nice retreat. Great breakfast, wonderful view of the lavendar field from our porch. Highly recommend!!!

This is the view from our Carriage House balcony of the Alexander Valley vineyards that surround The Shelford House. In the summer hot air ballons can be seen floating by. Stay here in late September and experience the picking of the grapes first hand.Vineyard Retreat Suite - This room has it all, king bed, queen sleeper sofa, kitchenette, TV/VCR w/ Cable, free movie library, phone, gas fireplace, ceiling fan, air conditioning, private deck, including a great view from the double jaccuzi tub through the french doors of the acres of vineyards.
Mary Room - This room is downstairs in our 1885 Victorian House and is one our more popular rooms. It has lovely rose patterened wallpaper, original redwood plank floors with hand braided rugs, an antique oak bedroom set, antique ceiling lamp, and great vineyard views. The private bath has a claw foot tub with overhead shower, brass sink and fixtures, and a pull chain commodeLaura Room - This room is upstairs in our 1885 Victorian House and has a large window seat with a view of our centry old oak tree. The walnut bedroom set has a queen bed and a rocking chair for relaxing in. The large private bath has a claw foot soaking tub with hand held shower and a window seat with a vineyard view. This room has air conditioning.

Carriage House PArlor - This large common area has a refrigerator stocked with cold drinks, antiques, books, puzzles and games. The balcony has a view of the entire valley and the vineyards.
