Stunning Vineyard Views - Featured in Budget Travel. This hilltop historic inn with swimming pool, overlooks the vineyards of Alexander Valley and a meandering stretch of the Russian River. Luxurious rooms on five peaceful acres - all rooms have private entrances, private baths, feather beds, fireplaces, air conditioning, TV/DVD/VCR/WIFI, lounging chairs on the decks and patios. Close to biking, hiking, canoeing, and ballooning. The region is un-surpassed for wine tasting and excellent restaurants. The inn has a AAA Diamond rating and a Certificate of Excellence with TripAdvisor; and is child and pet friendly in the cottage rooms. Charles Crocker was one of the famed "Big Four" founders of the Central Pacific Transcontinental Railroad in the 1860s. Crocker purchased about 600 acres of an old Spanish land grant in 1873 as a hunting retreat that he often visited with his cronies. The current lodge was built in 1907 with redwood framing and siding as a family style retreat. It has been updated but retains its original rustic charm.

We felt so lucky when we arrived to find such a wonderful retreat set in the woods with a beautiful big room that connected to a huge deck. We sat out as much as possible and saw a deer walk by in the morning. The breakfasts are the best I've had at a B and B and that's saying a lot! Staff was wonderful, we are coming back ASAP

There were some unexpected amenities, little things that made a big difference: 1. A rabbit ear corkscrew. 2. A lint brush. 3. A private patio outside the bedroom. 4. A vanity and chair in the bathroom. 5. Decent sized soap. It was the warm, friendly, helpful service that made us feel at home.

B&B is located on the side of valley overlooking Cloverdale. The building includes a wonderful common area to relax and overlook the garden and surrounding scenery. The wineries and area in general is much more laid back compared to those in Napa.

If you must cancel, we will refund your deposit minus a $15.00 cancellation fee provided we receive at least 8 days notice to cancel one room and 15 days notice for two or more rooms. If less notice is given, you will be charged in full for your entire reservation unless we re-book your room(s). No-shows and early departures are charged for the full scheduled stay.

It does not get any better--gorgeous country inn with flexiblle and caring Inn Keepers. Stunning views, delicious breakfast and goodies availble round the clock. Marcia and Tony think of the little details that make this place unique. All the way from Hawaii, we could not have felt more Aloha.

Spent a couple of nights in the Canton room. In is located in the hills and is very quiet. Innkeeper provided excellent advice for area wine tasting and dining. Would go again.

We stayed in one of their cottages. The space was lovely and it allowed us to bring our two dogs. Not only was the room cozy with a gorgeous fireplace but it was beautifully decorated. The dogs could run freely about making our stay that much more enjoyable. The breakfast was homemade, the location was quiet and peaceful and the owner was very kind. We hope to go back one day!!
