From San Francisco take highway 101 south to Prunedale and the Monterey Peninsula turnoff. This is highway 156 which will merge with highway 1 south. Take that to Carmel and the Ocean Avenue turnoff. Turn right on Ocean and come down to Monte Verde Street and turn right one block. The Tally Ho is on the left. From Los Angeles, take 101 north to Salinas and the Monterey Peninsula turnoff. This will take you on highway 68 to highway 1 south in Monterey and go to Carmel and Ocean Avenue turnoff. - Nearest major airport: Monterey, CA (MRY-Monterey Peninsula) 7 miles
