Please visit our website for descriptions and availability. Situated in the Jewel Box neighborhood of Capitola, The Jewel Box B&B offers a quaint and relaxing environment. Our remodeled 1948 bungalow features two uniquely spirited guest suites, perfectly designed for a romantic getaway. The Jade Suite boasts an over-sized rock floor shower and private kitchenette. The Opal Suite offers a whirlpool bathtub, standing shower and vintage bowl vessel. Both Suites include free off street parking, Wifi, cable TV/DVD, seperate entrance, cozy bed and a wholesome continental breakfast. The location of the Jewel Box B&B is just a stone's throw from the Historic Capitola Village & Beach.

Recently stayed at the Jewel Box towards the end of a week long CA vacation. Hands down the best place we stayed during the week (and we stayed at 4 different places). Stayed in the Jade room and it is beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The decor is modern but cozy. Shower is large and very unique, including awesome-smelling organic products. I think the best thing about the Jewel Box, though, is the breakfast. Spread includes these DELICIOUS baked goodies, similar to muffins but BETTER. Also organic yogurts, multi-grain bread, granola, cheese, eggs, fresh coffee, tea, juice and nice fresh fruit. I wanted to sample everything and almost did :) Lastly, the innkeeper, Tina, was extremely nice and unobtrusive. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and will recommend to all friends/family visiting the area.

Opal room was Great, Cozy, Clean. Nice Jacuzzi and Shower. Our Last stay on a 6 night Honeymoon and Probably the Best! Great Morning Food Choices!

we were very pleased with jewel box. It was very cosy and so quaint. the first night we just relaxed in our own living room in jade and watched tv/ate pizza. we definitly felt very relaxed after the trip.

We stayed at the Jewel Box for just one night while passing through the Santa Cruz area. It's in a nice area, easy to get to, and left a great impression. The house is extreme stylish and comfortable. The rooms and the common area are inviting, detailed and relaxing. The bathroom in the room we stayed was gorgeous. The deep tub and selection of bath products made for an excellent way to end a long day of travel. The breakfast of fresh fruit, freshly baked bread, and an assortment of other items such as yogurt, juice and cereal was more than and better than expected. The entire house, from the food, to the bath products, to even the kitchen soap was organic, natural and environmentally aware. That, coupled with the fresh breakfast and assortment of near-by healthy restaurants really makes this an ideal place for the green / veggie or vegan guest. The next time we're traveling through the area we'll definitely make reservations here.

What a lovely place to stay! We only had two days to spend in Capitola, and we couldn't have chosen a quieter, more private, and more pleasant place than the Jewel Box. Tina has done a wonderful job renovating this two-suite B&B only a few blocks from the beach and Capitola Village; and as for amenities, she has thought of everything -- including a continental breakfast that well exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be back!
