We have been saying here for many man years. Love everything about it. John was very helpful.....we'll be back in June!

A nice weekend, but for the price, I'd prefer updated/more modern amenities and decor.

Pros: 1. Spacious bathroom with shower stall and deep but awkward soaking tub. 2. Complete breakfast with choices, afternoon wine or sparkling cider and hors d'oeuvre and dessert at night. 3. Although there are no room fridges, there is a common refrigerator for guests to use in the main kitchen. 4. Staff was always gracious and pleasant. 5. When available, fresh flowers are placed through out the inn. Cons: 1.Upon entry into our room (Railroad Baron), we felt this wave of heat. There is no A/C, however a standing fan is available for cooling the room. We found it necessary to keep the patio door open (no screen) throughout the day with the drapes pulled almost fully closed to get fresh air, but also keep out the sunlight. 3. A tiny 13 inch TV set in a cupboard off to the side of the fireplace.

Been here a couple of times. Historic and well located for a seaside village visit. The staff is attentive, friendly, and caring. Nice freshly prepared breakfast. You will enjoy your visit.

The Inn was very cute, we stayed in the Delft room which was decorated in all blue and white. There was a fireplace and a sitting area. The bed had a canopy and bedding was so beautiful and comfortable. We had our own patio with outdoor spa tub. They provided wine and snacks at cocktail hour and baked apple strudle at bedtime with a glass of sherry. For breakfast we had eggs benedict with fresh fruit, croisant and coffee and juice served in our room...which we enjoyed in our super compfy bed while watching TV. All the comforts & romance!
