    We are twenty five year residents of Cambria, California. Bill is a former Hearst Castle Guide. He is also a licensed soccer referee and enjoys travel. Janis is a former interior design business owner. She also enjoys travel, art, music and attending plays and concerts. Both love attending Big Sur activities including the annual Jade Festival. Our son teaches school in Big Sur.

    I was so impressed with the warmth and hospitality provided by Janis and Bill. They were helpful and friendly. I felt like I was visiting beloved relatives staying in their home. I loved the rooms and found the pillows very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and big enough to carry us through most of the day. I will absolutely return and look forward to staying here again.

    We had a five night stay in Dreydon House in August 2010 and thoroughly enjoyed a truly amazing break. Made even better by the hosts Bill and Janis who were so friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make sure our stay was a great success. The breakfasts and sight seeing advice were particularly impressive as was the overall comfort of the attractive accomodation.

    We had a good breakfast for both days. Friendly people. Restaurant suggestions were good. A couple of things would have helped. A bath mat to put on the tile floor after showering. Hand towels to use instead of the large bath towel. Plastic cups in the bathroom for use in brushing the teeth. The larger bed in the tv/coffee machine room for couples with no children.

    Gracious hosts in a lovely setting. Thank goodness we have GPS! Only drawback was shared bathroom but if traveling with family or close friends, not a problem. Wonderful 'cooked to order' breakfast with choices from oatmeal to pancakes to good old American Bacon & Eggs. We wish we would have been there earlier in the day to enjoy the back patio! In a word, delightful.
