My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at the Bear Flag Inn. We enjoyed the hosts as well as the town. Great location and lovely and clean rooms. Nice grounds and wonderful persimmons to pick as an extra unexpected treat.

We stayed in the small one bedroom cottage next to the pool (separate from the main house). Cozy little space with gas fireplace. It was convenient to town where we enjoyed a mud bath spa and massage treatment. The hosts are very friendly and made excellent breakfasts. One day was eggs benedict with fresh fruit (they even had fresh persimmons from the old tree next to the house) and the following morning they had home-made waffles! We look forward to returning. The cottage at this B&B was wonderfully quaint. The McKays are great hosts and incredible cooks. Every breakfast was beyond what I imagined; fresh fruit, waffles, eggs Benedict, orange juice, coffee. The B&B is set among a small vineyard. Sweet dogs and chickens roaming around. We loved it!!!!! And would stay there again.

The owners are very friendly but will give you your space if they sense you need it. We enjoyed discussing a number of issues with them over breakfast.
