Alpenhorn B&B is the ideal spot for a romantic garden wedding. 2 beautifully landscaped acres, just a few blocks from Big Bear Lake.
Murial of a view of the lake from Castle Rock welcomes visitors.
The great room: In the evening, guests can enjoy a glass of wine and hors d'oeuvres by the roaring fire, a quiet game of chess, or just relax. The morning sun brightens this room, making it ideal for serving the Alpenhorn's gourmet four-course breakfast. Guests may choose to take pleasure in the camaraderie of other inn guests or enjoy breakfast at a private corner table with someone special.
Bellflower: Relaxing green and beige colors bring the outdoors in, as you sit by the fireplace. This room is perfect to share with a special friend, as it has 2 twin beds (converts to a king). For guests who have special needs, this room is located on the first floor and it is handicap accessible.
Alpenrose: You¿ll never want to leave this haven of soft greens and pinks with its marble fireplace. Located on the first floor, this room includes a 4-poster king-size bed, private balcony and an extra-large, luxurious bathroom.
Rosebay: It¿s the tree house you always wanted as a child, but this one comes with a queen-size bed, your own private balcony and a fireplace that will keep you warm and cozy, even on the coolest of nights.
Edelweiss: This beautiful mountain flower was the inspiration for this room with its teal and pink floral motif. Relax in your queen-size bed, while you enjoy the view of the back gardens and the warmth of an exquisite river-rock fireplace.

I stayed here with my two children, and we had such a wonderful time. We arrived late into this cozy little getaway, with all it's cabin "Alpine" charm. We nibbled on chocolates as we drifted off into a lovely sleep. The beds were super comfy. Everything was clean, and Linda and her staff were delightful. Breakfast was yummy. She really went the extra step to make us feel comfortable; given that I was travelling with two children, I felt very welcomed and supported. We made friends with one of the other families there, and Linda even brought out supplies to make gingerbread houses. Such a nice pre- holiday treat for the kids. THANK YOU!
5 out of 5Great wedding experience at Alpenhorn!
October 29, 2012
I recently had my wedding and reception at the Alpenhorn. The Alpenhorn provides amazingly picturesque grounds for both your ceremony and receptions. All my guests raved about how beautiful it was! You have you ceremony in the private “back garden” and your reception in the beautiful front garden by a man made stream. The lighting was beautiful. Every little detail was taken care of. The inn owner, Linda, was gracious, accommodating, and extremely helpful. The inn itself if beautiful and was great for getting ready. We stayed the night before and Linda’s breakfast was delicious! The quiche she makes is to die for! I would highly recommended the Alpenhorn as a ceremony and reception venue!
