As evening settles over Big Bear Lake, the lights of the Alpenhorn provide a warm welcome to arriving guests.   Our gazebo is the perfect place for your wedding ceremony or vow renewal. Walk across a bridge to a secluded nook in the back gardens, surrounded by towering pine trees.
Alpenhorn B&B is the ideal spot for a romantic garden wedding. 2 beautifully landscaped acres, just a few blocks from Big Bear Lake.Murial of a view of the lake from Castle Rock welcomes visitors.
The great room: In the evening, guests can enjoy a glass of wine and hors d'oeuvres by the roaring fire, a quiet game of chess, or just relax.   The morning sun brightens this room, making it ideal for serving the Alpenhorn's gourmet four-course breakfast.  Guests may choose to take pleasure in the camaraderie of other inn guests or enjoy breakfast at a private corner table with someone special.   Bellflower:  Relaxing green and beige colors bring the outdoors in, as you sit by the fireplace.  This room is perfect to share with a special friend, as it has 2 twin beds (converts to a king).  For guests who have special needs, this room is located on the first floor and it is handicap accessible.
Alpenrose:  You¿ll never want to leave this haven of soft greens and pinks with its marble fireplace.  Located on the first floor, this room includes a 4-poster king-size bed, private balcony and an extra-large, luxurious bathroom.Rosebay:  It¿s the tree house you always wanted as a child, but this one comes with a queen-size bed, your own private balcony and a fireplace that will keep you warm and cozy, even on the coolest of nights.
Edelweiss:  This beautiful mountain flower was the inspiration for this room with its teal and pink floral motif.  Relax in your queen-size bed, while you enjoy the view of the back gardens and the warmth of an exquisite river-rock fireplace.Primrose:  Right out of a Monet painting, this tranquil room includes light grays, blues and greens, making it a place to relax.  Your queen-size bed and the beautiful river-rock fireplace will make this room a place you will not want to leave.
Snowbell:  This room takes you back to the Victorian era with its charming furniture, including an exquisite queen-size bed.  What makes this room very special is the unique stack-stoned fireplace. This room has a tub/shower combination and a spa bath.Frank & Gina Pastore enhancing the romance, with chocolate dipped strawberries next to the fire.
Amarella:  This room has a majestic view of the entire back gardens, streams and gazebo.  With its queen-size bed, light and airy feeling and comfortable furniture, here¿s your chance to sit with that book you¿ve been wanting to read.
