This B&B is certainly the most beautiful place that your heart will enjoy. The white wisteria, roses in bloom, lavender and so much more in bloom, will amaze you. Turning off the road and entering this gorgeous green beauty will be an experience in its self. Kris, the owner, will go above and beyond so that experience is unbelievable. Breakfast is delicious and filling. Kris helped us with our plans for the day and recommended wonderful dinner places. We walked the grounds finding so many wonderful things. White wisteria growing out our one entrance to our room. We had the Hidden garden room, three ways to enter, all gorgeous. Flowers, champagne, and peaceful all around. Does not get any better than this. If you are looking for a little getaway, honeymoon spot, wedding place or vacation, this is it. I have already told my family that I'm ready to go back. The only down side is that our stay was not longer.

I had a great relaxing weekend at Sand Rock Farm in Oct. The Bed and Breakfast was in a beautiful location very close to Santa Cruz activites. My room was very clean and spacious. I found the atmosphere to be very peaceful and quiet. My breakfast was awesome. I would recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a fun and relaxing weekend away.

We have stayed at Sand Rock many times and have found it to be one of the best places we have ever stayed. The rooms and outside gardens are private, quiet, and well equipped, and the beds and bathrooms are amazing. Breakfasts are delicious and healthy, and the owner is helpful and friendly. The area is a great place to ride a bicycle, go to the beach, or take a drive to Monterey or Santa Cruz. It is a great destination. I especially recommend fall, when the water is warm and the area is uncrowded. Our trip there earlier this month was incredibly peaceful and all around excellent. Jeremy Witt - Napa, CA

If you are looking for an exquisite weekend retreat, look no further because this B & B is Paradise! We are fussy, experienced travelers and this lovely Inn met all of our needs. Nestled up a private driveway in the woods above Aptos, the multi-acre gardens are naturally spectacular. Wisteria, lilacs and camellias have been growing on the property for more than 60 years. Needless to say, the colors and fragrances are out of this world. The Inn itself is one of the "happiest old mansions" we have ever experienced. More than 100 years old, it has been lovingly and painstakingly restored in the Arts and Crafts style. The gorgeous hardwood floors, stunning space design, lovely antiques, comfy beds and modern private baths create the perfect ambiance. Kris, the Innkeeper, prepared delicious breakfasts for us on both mornings of our stay. She went out of her way to ensure our privacy and comfort. Gracious and knowledgeable, Kris helped us with dinner reservations and sight-seeing suggestions. Pristine and quiet, you will feel as if you are in the south of France! Since the Inn is actually only about 15 minutes away from UC Santa Cruz (our son is a freshman this year), we will absolutely return when visiting him or when we need to just get away from the real world for a weekend of relaxation. This Inn has all the amenities and then some! You will not be disappointed. Five Stars all the way!!
