Step out of the ordinary. Inn on the Beach is a botique hotel located right on the sand. Lodgings with views are numerous, very few are Ocean Front. Our rooms offer balcony or patio, gas fireplaces, flat screen lcd tv's, refrigerators, and many rooms have a deep tub whirlpool funtion. A continental breakfast is provided each morning.

The location is the best, right on the beach with all its sounds, sunsets and sunrises. The rooms could use an upgrade, decor does not fit the location.

Beautiful location right on the beach. The fire place was nice surprise. The room was actually larger ten expected. The room quiet. The hotel was also sold out and still remained quiet and relaxing. Dining and stores were all within walking distance. The biggest plus was location, location, location! The age of the building showed its years with dirty carpet and peeling wallpaper in our room. It could be expected due to being on the sandy beach. We would definitely go back. As long as you can get past the age of the building it was a great experience.

We found this sweet little hideaway when we were looking for a place to stay while we did a whale watching tour. The hotel is right on the beach and it was lovely. It's an older establishment, but that is what gives it the charm and coziness. The staff was great and very helpful with local directions. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. One thing - if you are a real breakfast fan, there are places to go that will serve hungry appetites. The breakfast offered is donuts and coffee. We would recommend this cozy hotel and we will be back.

I stayed here on 5/24/15 #302 with my husband and have never been so upset. We got to the room to see that the curtains were clustered on the rod in a big mess, most of the hooks were missing on the curtain making moving it impossible and the rod was falling out of the wall. We discovered that our fireplace tiles were falling off and completely missing, a hole going under the fire place and the fireplace itself didn’t work. There was a spot on the wall where they had a piece of plywood screwed into place to cover some exposed piping/insulation and looked like place small critters could escape from! In the bathroom there was a light out, half the toiletries were used and a hole in the wall I will be honest I checked inside for a camera since it was right by the shower. I called the front desk because I was concerned with the condition of the room and the curtains, the man that came to our room had an excuse for everything and told me there was a list of upgrades to be done to the hotel in the. He attempted to fix the curtains and disregarded the issues around the room that I pointed out and that the room seemed to be falling apart. In an attempt to make the best of the situation and deal with the room I asked if we could get an extra blanket, he told me that I didn’t realize but there was a comforter on the bed. Per this guy, since hotels don’t wash their comforters and that bothers people they get these thin comforters and put a top sheet on both sides of it so that you don’t touch it, I was told that I would be plenty warm. At bed time we noticed that there was an only top sheet so as soon as you got in the bed the sheet was off the mattress, we spent the night trying to stay on TOP of the sheets to make sure we didn’t touch the stained mattress. I'm not sure why we stayed the night. The only good thing was the balcony by the water; it was not enough to make the room worth it.

The location of Inn on the Beach is outstanding, the view the distance to the ocean are great. You can't get this experience in the brand name hotels. We will stay again if we are in the area.

We arrived to find that there had been a customer-caused flooding problem in our reserved room. So we had to settle for two queen beds rather than the king we had reserved, a disappointment to say the least. We were looking forward to more space. But the sheets were clean, we slept well, and the decor was quaint. We could read and relax as planned. So we had a wonderful week.
