We've stayed in many hotels, inns & b&b's in the Napa Valley....the lovely Spanish Villas isn't fancy but it is a wonderful, welcoming gem of a place. Innkeeper, Roy is a friend to all! We really had the most peaceful time even between tastings & meals & walks. Highly recommend!

Decent breakfast and good coffee but extremely dirty windows, dirty rug in bathroom, no pillow covers and un-ironed sheets. Poor sound insulation...you could hear everything. For the price we paid, these items suggest lack of attention on the part of management. The owner was courteous and friendly but, oddly, no one was present to greet us. Pleasant grounds, bocce court, and very peaceful rural location.

We have been to the Spanish Vanilla in St. Helena many times and always enjoy our stay. The innkeepers, Roy and Barbara, are delightful and very accommodating. They serve a beautiful breakfast and the rooms are kept very clean. We wouldn't think of staying anywhere else!
