Mountain Top Bed & Breakfast, located 11 miles east of Camp Nelson in Ponderosa, offers a quiet mountain retreat in a beautiful, pine-covered setting for those who enjoy outdoor sports or simply sitting in front of the massive rock fireplace with a good book.
From the two available bedrooms, each with its own private bath, guests look out on the peaceful mountain countryside. Guests have the use of a large, airy living room with satellite large screen TV, surround sound and a VCR with its collection of movies.


Each morning Alvie serves a hot gourmet breakfast which can include a selection of Aebleskivers (Danish Pancakes), crepes, cheese blintz souffle, egg blossoms, chocolate scones, Ahwahnee creamed bananas, or Jose's oven pancakes.

After a day of hiking or cross-country skiing, guests return for wine, cheese and crackers served 4-5 PM. In the evening they enjoy hot homemade cookies, coffee, spiced cider or hot chocolate by the fireplace.

Bed and Breakfast guests can enjoy a relaxing soak in the spa while viewing a roaring fire in the stove nearby.

Attached to the home, with its own separate entrance, is a self-contained rental cabin which can sleep up to seven people.
