We enjoyed our stay tremendously. You will not find more attentive and caring hosts, I guarantee. My family lives in Tahoe and this is the warmest and best quality stay you will find if you are into that "Home Away From Home" feeling. The food! Incredible. We could not pull ourselves away from the mini lodge. You have our endorsement. Thank you sooo much for the best stay in Tahoe. Oh yeah, the rooms have themes! Make your reservation early and ask for your favorite room. We hope to come back many times! Thank you. Evon Schaar Kurtz & Bill Cameron

Gracious hosts, fabulous bed and cozy bedding, scrumptious breakfasts, lively banter at cocktail hour. The best that any B&B has to offer from location, hospitality, cleanliness and convenience. We had a wonderful stay and were so thankful to come back to the warmth of Heavenly Valley Lodge after skiing each day. Owners Johan and Linda really know how to make their guests feel special!

Enjoyed a college reunion at HVL. Johan & Linda are wonderful hosts...gracious, accomodating and just nice folks. The rooms were cozy and clean, the breakfasts hearty and delicious, and the hosted happy hour fun and relaxing. All in all, a terrific stay. We'll be back someday.

Your Innkeepers are Johan & Linda du Plooy. Living in Lake Tahoe has been our dream for many years and finally became a reality in June 2011. Heavenly Valley Lodge is our home now and we can honestly say we are living in Paradise! Excellent customer service is very important to both of us. Minimum Stay: 2 night minimum stay required with a Saturday (some exceptions; extended min.)

Deposit Amount Required: Reservations confirmed with 50% deposit paid at the time of booking with the balance due at check in.

Cancellations: ALL FUNDS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE, However, reservations may be cancelled and rebooked up to one year from date of original reservation. There is no charge or fee for re-booking.

NO SHOWS: Because all rooms are booked with a minimum 50% deposit we hold your room for you on your reservation date. If you do not show up and have not properly cancelled your reservation at least 24 hours in advance (you will have received a formal cancellation confirmation), your reservation has then been fulfilled and you will be charged for the first night stay. This is because you have prevented us from renting the room to someone else.

Wife and I had a great time at Heavenly Valley Lodge. Linda and Johan are wonderful host. Breakfast were great and happy hour by fire pit was alot op fun. stay was 9/9 to9/13. Great weather and great golf and Restaraunts in walking distant. We will return.

Ditto to the other reviews. Linda and Johan make a great team and really enhance the experience of staying in Lake Tahoe. The room was snug but very clean, the entire place is well maintained. Breakfast was more than we expected and Happy Hour was the icing on the cake!

On Ski Run Blvd, halfway between the Lake and the Ski slopes, 1/2 mile to both, centrally located, walking distance to great restaurants, Ski Rental stores, Spa, etc. The Heavenly Resort shuttle bus picks up/drops off guests right across the road from our proeprty on Ski Run Blvd.
