Eden Vale is a wonderfully comfortable and relaxing country inn in the rolling hills near Placerville. The owner, Gayle, was welcoming and attentive to our needs from the time of our first inquiry until we reluctantly ended our three-day stay. She is also an excellent cook and decorator, providing the special touches that kick things up a notch. The inn is beautifully furnished in a tasteful but low-key way. We particularly enjoyed having the soaking tub for two located on a private, cedar-enclosed deck—a much more inviting atmosphere than is usually the case. We will return, hopefully often.

This is a fantastic place to stay in the gold discovery country in the northern California Sierra foothills. The room was fantastic and very quiet and peaceful. The grounds are phenomenal and Mark and Gail are very friendly and are blessed with the gift of hospitality. The gourmet breakfast was scrumptious. No detail is spared especially in the rooms...all designer tile, granites and Grohe fixtures; simply marvelous and stunning in every way. The most upscale barn ever remodeled. UNBELIEVABLE. Our only regret was that we couldn't have stayed longer! Say "hi" to Mr. Bushwhack when you go. Chuck & Mitzi - Pleasanton, CA

We had a fabulous experience at Eden Vale Inn B&B. The attention to detail was evident at every turn. The rooms were comfortable with state of the art electronics, the grounds resembled a botanical garden and innkeepers Gayle and Mark provided excellent recommendations to maximize our visit. At the end of our day of wine tasting and experiencing Apple Hill farms, we enjoyed a fire in the large firepit on the patio--and were even offered makings for s'mores! We will definitely return to his gem in the country!

This place is beautiful. And romantic. There for our anniversary. First time at a B&B. Would not recommend for kids. The innkeepers were very nice. Stayed in the Live Oak room. Nicely appointed but was a little small. Nice soaking tub on our deck. Breakfast in the morning was delicious! A great way to start the day, as there are many places close by to visit.
