Spacious room, great bathroom, beautiful view, very comfortable bed, and fantastic owner. What more do you want? OK. There are more. Awesome wine, extremely quiet place (no one's around, except the owner's house next door), best value to stay in Paso Robles, and fine dining in downtown Paso Robles isn't too far away. Now, can you ask for anything more? Dunning Vineyards truly is a hidden gem.

Oh what a way to spend the afternoon. My Wife & I purchased a lovely bottle when we checked in. Sitting on the patio with wine & cheese overlooking the vineyard was just spectacular. At night cool breezes star lit sky and sound of surrounding nature made for a memorable stay. Highly recommend.

We found this location by chance when browsing the bed&breakfast web site - what a spectacular find!!! The hosts were warm and charming, the accommodations were simply amazing and the surroundings were beautiful!!! Would definitely recommend to my friends and others.

The view is magnificent and the privacy is exceptional. We had coffee and breakfast on the private patio each morning. I would recommend this B&B if you are looking to get away and feel like you are part of wine country. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom luxurious (the sink is a pedestal so there is nowhere to put any make-up or products). Since this was advertised as a “luxury villa” we had certain expectations. Continental breakfast – not really – there wasn’t a variety of baked goods, butter, jam and perhaps some cold meats and cheeses or other assorted pastries. What we had was a small pitcher of juice, a smaller container of milk, two pieces of quiche, two granola bars and two packages of instant oatmeal that were left in the refrigerator the day before for us to heat in the microwave. The quiche was good but we didn’t bother with the oatmeal and we had the granola bar as a snack during the day. Overall, less than we expected and we ran out of milk for our coffee both days - I'm sure if we'd thought of it after the first day, we could have requested more. It would have been nice to have some bottled water or sodas in the fridge. Unfortunately the "welcome" letter was buried under a plate on the table so we didn't actually see it until our last day - it actually pointed out that the water in the shower is reversed and would have saved us a call to the owner upon arrival. The biggest problem with this B&B is cleanliness – the cloth placemats, napkins, & bath towels all had stains, the utensils in the drawer had crusted food on them, the robes had holes and other people's hair on them - basically, I don't believe that anything was really cleaned and sanitized before our arrival. I do think that a quick afternoon spent at Home Goods to pick up some decorative elements and clean/new robes, towels, etc. and a little more attention to the breakfast, would do this B&B a world of good and make this a must go back to B&B.

We were greeted warmly by our hosts, Bob & Jo-Ann. Our room was nestled into their vineyard behind a key code entry gate for added security. We were given the run of the land to enjoy morning and evening walks with our dog. We enjoyed the serenity and peacefulness provided by the property on which we stayed.

My wife and I decided to add an extra stop on our trip to our nieces's wedding and decided Paso Robles would be a good spot, She had been to Dunning before with her sister for a tasting and was sure I would like the reds. We arrived a little before the end of tasting but enjoyed an unhurried opportunity to try our way through from white to red - She was right and we had to make a little extra room in the back for a case to go. We spent only one night in their hill top Casita, which has extraordinary views. The dogs enjoyed several long walks in the vineyard before we left and we enjoyed a quiche muffins (from a local french bakery) and fresh juice left conveniently in the fridge for our early morning exit. Bob and Jo-Ann were very inviting and we will look forward to swinging buy the next time we have the chance.

Loved the sound of the water fountain and the classical music. Room was first class, deer roaming the property and having delicious quiche in the refrig was very convenient. Bed was very comfy with spectacular view.

The room was lovely and the view is spectacular. The setting, off the beaten path, was exactly what we were looking for. We enjoyed ourselves immensely.

This experience was perfect, and even better than we imagined. Fantastic views of the beautiful vineyard, lots of privacy, and very upscale accommodations. Our host was very personable and welcoming. Breakfast is ready when you are, which you get to enjoy from the patio while taking in the view. They have lots of snacks and wine to enjoy as well. We wished we could stay longer!
