My husband and I stayed here on our wedding night. It was private, romantic and luxurious. Everything we had been hoping for. Bob Dunning took great care of us! There was beautiful quiche and coffee cake in the refrigerator for our morning breakfast along with coffee and orange juice. I loved that we had the convenience to eat when we wanted instead of being on someone else's schedule like you are at most B&B's. Bob also allowed us to check out late due to not having another guest that next evening which made for an even more relaxed stay. We are Paso Robles locals and will be recommending the Dunning Vineyard Guest Villa to all of our friends and family.

My girlfriend and I stayed at dunning for 1 night as a quick getaway. Though we knew it was going to be a beautiful room with a great view, nothing could have prepared us for what we got. The guest villa at dunning was absolutely breathtaking. The room had everything we needed for one night, ad though we knew that Bob was just a phone call away, he and his wife did a great job at making us feel like we were the only two people on the vineyard. I rated dining a 3 because there was none on the vineyard, this is what we expected so we cannot dock the vineyard for that. This was well worth the money and I look forward to staying there again in the future.

Nice casita located on a hill with sweeping views (the best part of the lodging). Room was OK - nice bathroom but the lighting/electrical switching system was burdensome. Breakfast was sort of do-it-yourself in a small kitchen area. Host was very welcoming and wine barn is worth visiting. Biggest pluses - privacy, acres of winery and open space, great views.

Total relaxation in seclusion & comfort! We spent hours every morning & evening enjoying the beautiful view from the hilltop overlooking the valley vineyards! We looked forward to every sunrise & sunset. I can't stop thinking about how much we enjoyed our stay and when we can get away again! We'll be back!

The drive up to the villa was challenging, but the view from the patio is spectacular! It's also very private, and if you like stargazing, away from city lights. A highlight is the large tub with a wall of windows overlooking the vineyards. The place has a king-size bed, large flat-panel TV, microwave and small refrigerator but no freezer. The bathroom is also gorgeous. And you can't leave without tasting the Dunnings' wine! We joined the club.

The Dunning Vineyards Guest Villa is a great place to stay for a romantic and relaxing weekend getaway. The view of the vines from the top of the hill is beautiful. This private oasis away from the hustle and bustle of town was exactly what we needed. Bob and Jo-Ann were very accommodating and their breakfast service was delicious. We also loved their estate wines, which were available within the villa kitchenette. We will definitely be coming back!

If you want serenity and a beautiful view this is it! We stayed for a long weekend at the beginning of November and were very happy with our choice of B & B. Very comfortable and worth the price for what you get. We rated the dining on what we thought it would be as we did not dine there.

The Dunning Vineyards Guest Villa is a unique and private room at the top of the hill next to the Dunning's residence. A wall separates the Villa from the family home, providing a private retreat at the Guest Villa. The Villa itself is spacious and comfortable with a patio looking over the vineyards and hills. Everything we needed was at the Villa, including breakfast, which was good because of the remote location and our reluctance to leave the serene location.

The views are breathtaking. Total privacy in your own freestanding little house. It cannot get better than this. Great value. Love to go back.

The Dunning Guest Villa is absolutely gorgeous, and you will be captivated by it inside and out. Owners Bob and Janice our gracious hosts, and the homemade quiche in the morning was delicious. The location within the backcountry of Paso Robles is perfect for a day of winetasting.

Stunning detached villa constructed in the Tuscany style - 12 foot ceilings, soothing beige and brown motif, giant whirlpool tub, and huge perfect bed. You are high on a hill in a remote part of wine country, so the only noise you hear are crickets in the evening and roosters (far away) in the morning. Breathtaking view. Very lovely. Bob and Jo-Ann are charming and they turn out first class wine too. Only drawback is that the breakfast part is more Continental than what we're used to. Otherwise, a perfect getaway. We'll be back.

My wife and I stayed two nights in July 2012 and loved the guest villa. Bob was very nice and gave us a private wine tasting of their fabulous wines. The guest villa has tremendous views and has everything you can think of. The quiche was especially good. Easy drive into town; we went to restaurants by the town square both nights. Would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a special experience.

If you are looking for a quiet place to retreat, rejuvenate or relax, this is for you. Rustic and charming. Easy check-in/out. Hosts are very helpful. Wine tour should not be missed. Great fun. The fountain is a nice touch on the patio!

Don't let the long, narrow (and partially unpaved) roads stop you. The Dunning Vineyard Guest Villa is a beautiful oasis in the country. It sits atop the rolling hills and overlooks the entire valley. Bob and Jo-Ann are wonderful hosts. The villa is so tastefully decorated and has its own private patio. There are thoughtful amenitites including a delicious breakfast items...and of course, bottles of Dunning award-winning wines. We very highly recommend the Villa! Nancy and David Haller

This was the second time we've stayed and I am certain it won't be the last. Bob and Jo-Ann are wonderful hosts. The villas are clean and comfortable, and they stock the fridge with a generous supply of breakfast foods. Very highly recommended.

Love Paso and Love Dunnings villa. The viila itself is wonderful and private and teh views are incredible. The landscaping in front of the villa however could use some freshing up, at least pull the weeds. The tasting room was getting a over haul, at least htat what it seemed. Overall we loved the privacy and love the wine. Breakfast is simple and do it youself which is fine, just don't expect much more.

The view was amazing. The room fantastic. We even enjoyed laying out on the patio and watching the stars at night. Great place.

Lovely private villa on top of a winery with great views. Well-app0inted rooms with excellent amenities; two-person jacuzzi tub was a great addition to relax at the end of each day. Definitely hope to return; wines are quite good as well!

The villa is quite amazing. Beautiful mountain views and a very quiet setting. The only thing that is not available is dining, however the villa has a kitchenette. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet getaway in a vineyard.

After being greeted with a wine tasting at the Winery, Bob was kind enough to show us the way up the hill to the villa. Our son had stayed here before and we had seen photos, yet we were still unprepared for the fabulous view and privacy that awaited us. The room is spacious with a very comfortable bed and fabulous bath (especially loved the tub). Home cooked goodies (even quiche!) are provided for breakfast. The patio is a great place for lingering over a good book and wine. During our stay, there were amazing hummingbirds that provided great bird watching as they constantly visited the fountain to drink and fed from the potted plants. And we visited several times by the Dunning's very friendly dog. It is also great property for a morning walk.

We have been members at this winery for many years. We had never stayed with them before. The room is great. The people are great. The breakfast was a lot more food than I was expecting. Overall a wonderful experience.

We had a lovely stay. Great views of vineyards. In fact, one could believe one was in Tuscany. We made reservations for next year.

The guest villa at Dunning is a true gem. The villa is just that - a villa - it's no boring hotel room. The place was actually bigger than my home. Wonderfully comfy bed, gorgeous bathroom, great terrace, spectacular views...the list goes on and on. Staying at Dunning was one of the highlights of our trip.

The Guest Villa at Dunning Vineyards is a treasure. If you seek peace, quiet, and a luxurious place in which to privately enjoy the company of another or your own thoughts, this is your spot. High on a mountain overlooking rolling hills of vineyards, the guest villa is equipped with all you will need including a huge jacuzzi spa tub, satellite TV & radio, fridge stocked with snacks, cupboards with tea, coffee, cocoa, wine, lovely china and silverware, a kingsized bed, huge shower and bath - it's divine, and very reasonably priced. Bob and Joanne Dunning have created a one-of-a-kind spot just 10 minutes from downtown Paso Robles, unique and restorative of mind, body and soul. Their home is just next door, should you need anything, and the wine tasting room is down the hill a ways. The Zinfandels are especially wonderful, but all the wine is delicious and you will not want to leave without joining their wine club, which also gives you built in discounts on the guest palace-oops I mean "villa"! Not to be dismissed are the animals you will see around during your stay, most often Ralphie their sweet and affectionate dog and the sleek black vineyard cat who just loves to be petted and scratched. We also saw deer, wild turkeys, hummingbirds on the villa patio. Many wonderful birds can be heard and observed from the table and chairs on the stone patio that overlooks the 180 degreee views of paradise below, as you sip your wine or tea or coffee and relish the sweet fresh air, fabulous vistas, and total peace you find yourself in. You will want to book ahead and plan your return!

Spent 2 nights at Dunnings B&B in Paso Robles. Loved the views at the villa. The villa was spacious and very confortable. Loved the jetted tub. As wine club members received a free bottle of wine with our stay and of course tastings of the wonderful wines in the tasting room. Breakfast was simple but good, quiche, bagels, fruit, juice and coffee. The location is ideal, very private, and no other guests! Saw deer and a fox frolicing around the vineyards on the drive up to the villa. We will be back for sure.

We stayed here for our 10th Anniversary and it was perfect! It was private and beautiful! Breakfast was left in the mini fridge to eat on our own schedule which was great! And the wine was fantastic! We will definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful weekend stay for our anniversary. The views are magnificent and the guest villa is wonderful. Could have stayed for many more days! Will definitely go back. Bob & Jo-Ann Dunning were very friendly and accommodating to our requests. If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing place to get away, then this is it.

This is the best vacation value for the money. If you desire a break from reality, this is the place to go. Peace and Solitude. Why go to Tuscany when it's right here. Plus, Dunning Wines are my regional favorites.

Owners more than happy to go the extra mile to help out. Even brought us dinner when we were snowed in.

The room was well appointed, comfortable, and the view outstanding.

The view from the Dunning guest villa is amazing. The tall ceilings really add a dramatic effect. The jet tub is nice, and was the shower. The refrigerator was stocked with bagels, bread, cream cheese, coffee, and orange juice. The villa has DirecTV, which was really nice. A few additional touches would be nice. I would suggest adding a toaster oven, instead of just a regular toaster. And, the WiFi signal was really weak. The villa was advertised as having free WiFi, but I could only pick up the signal on my iPod Touch if I held it really high in the air. But, the view really made up for any WiFi signal I didn't have. I would stay here again. You really feel like you're getting away from it all.

My fiance and I stayed here Christmas Eve, and Bob accommodated us with an afternoon wine tasting before taking us to the villa. The wines are excellent and unique -- I highly recommend them. And Bob was very friendly, sharing interesting information about his wines and the history of wine making in the Paso Robles region. This visit to California was the first time we did wine tasting and Bob's personality contributed to an extremely positive experience. Then the Dunning villa -- nothing whatsoever to complain about. It was stunning and perfect, with a gorgeous view of the vineyards and rolling hill countryside. Two thumbs up and full stars.

Our recent stay at the Dunning Vineyards guest villa was very enjoyable. The setting is spectacular, very scenic, private and quiet. The villa is modern and very clean and appointed with nearly everything one would need. Two additions would be most welcome on our next stay: an iron and ironing board, and more space to place one's clothing. We'll definitely stay again next time we visit the Paso Robles area. The dining rating is based on our dining experiences in the city of Paso Robles, which were excellent, in particular our two dinners at Artisan Bistro

The Dunning Vineyard Guest Villa exceeded all our expectations. Set high on a ridge, the view is sDunning, no less. We arrived late in the evening, and a couple of bottles the local wine were waiting for us. We sat on the terrace and enjoyed a starlit sky and the beautiful fresh air. A magic moment! Next day we had a long chat with the owner, Bob, and tasted his products, and they are Outstanding! All in all very recommendable.

We've stayed at some very nice B&Bs but this guest villa is by far our favorite. The one bedroom villa is spacious, very comfortable, clean, private, and with luxurious amenities. We loved the Tuscany style decor. Bob and Jo-Ann were friendly and inviting. They made sure we had everything we needed and that we had our complete privacy. The view from the terrace was beautiful early morning, dusk, and evening hours and the sound of the fountain on the terrace was so soothing. We absolutely loved our stay and look forward to going back

This hilltop villa with panoramic views of the west side Paso Robles mountain range and vineyards is breathtaking. The Dunnings have created a romantic refuge with top notch bedding, jacuzzi tub, and a wonderful deck to relax and enjoy the country setting. This gem is a must for anyone wanting a private respite nestled in the vineyards. Truly an outstanding destination!

JoAnne, and Bob, have just completed a new guest Villa with a view that cant be beat. The two person whirlpool tub, and super tall ceilings offer every comfort one could ask for. Combine that with the ultra plush robes and towels and you almost dont want to leave to go wine tasting. These guys should be very proud of what they have to offer, we will be staying here many times in the future.

SO MUCH TO SAY ABOUT THIS LOVELY PLACE. THE VIEWS WERE GREAT AS WE SAT ON THE PATIO AND ENJOYED OUR DELICIOUS DUNNING WINE, ESPECIALLY AT SUNSET. THE BED WAS VERY COMFORTABLE & MADE IT EASY TO SLEEP IN LATER THAN I NORMALLY DO. PEACE AND QUIET AND A PERFECT GET AWAY FOR 2!
