Outstanding B&B

5 on May 20, 2016

Stayed in May 2016. Location in Napa is ideal. House is elegant, beautiful and charming. Personal touches make it outstanding (sherry in room, fresh baked cookies on sideboard, wine and cheese on trellised patio...). Breakfast is amazing. Will stay here anytime we return to Napa--

Delightful home for our stay in Napa

I highly recommend Hennessey House for your visit to Napa. The home is very well kept, the staff is friendly and very helpful with any questions that you might have, and breakfast was absolutely delicious! I can't say enough positive things!!

Great Room Great Service

4.0 on April 21, 2016

The room was great. Room rate includes a gourmet breakfast each morning, wine and a cheese plate at 5:00 PM each day, and they even provide your own personal Sherry with chocolates in your room. The owners and their staff were wonderful. Very attentive to you wants or needs.

Warm historical house, great staff, wonderful breakfasts

We stayed in Napa for the first time for my wife's birthday. The owner and staff of Hennessey House are very warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable people. We felt very much at home from the first moments we were there. The room was so nicely decorated and comfortable. The breakfasts were so delicious and varied each day. This is exactly what we imagined a Napa B&B to be. We will definitely be staying there the next time we visit the area.

The Hennessey House Bed and Breakfast

4.8 on September 09, 2015

The Hennessey House Bed and Breakfast in a beautiful Napa Valley, was all that I could ask for in a bed and breakfast. The place was close to the town with good food and shopping nearby and the rooms were very clean and reasonable size too! We had a full homemade Breakfast which was delicious! Everyone there was welcoming and made us feel right at home!! They even made something special for me on my birthday! We will return there again for sure!!! Thanks for a great birthday!

We could not have been happier with our stay. Our room was great, breakfast was AMAZING, and the evening wine and cheese was a special treat. Great location for access to wineries and downtown Napa. We will be back for sure, especially for the price. Thank you!

Lovely

Hennessey House is several steps above the normal bed and breakfast experience. There are many extra personal touches including the beautifully presented food, the 24 hour tea/coffee/infused water, afternoon homemade cookies or cakes, and evening wine and cheese. If you desire,it's also a perfect place for making new friends and chatting with other travelers on the patio with wine and cheese. Lorri is very helpful and definitely goes the extra mile. The house is lovely too! The location perfect.

Wonderful B&B

5 on May 21, 2015

We loved our stay at the Hennessey House. Our room was very comfortable (especially the bedding..amazingly soft!). We loved the old Victorian charm, the wine & cheese in the afternoons & the breakfast was perfect. It was so nice to hear how seriously they take food allergies. I am gluten sensitive and Lori had no problems making my breakfast just a little different from everyone else's. She even had GF crackers and packed me a little as a snack while out wine tasting. We hope to come back!

About the innkeepers

Eleven years ago, we were living high powered (and high stress) lives in Silicon Valley, and in search of a more balanced lifestyle. We always had this dream of owning a Bed and Breakfast someday. We came upon Hennessey House while researching B&B’s in Napa and the rest is history.
