Querencia is a romantic, small, luxury inn on a remote ridge top, minutes from downtown Murphys, California. We feature oversize rooms, private baths, huge grounds, remote location, breathtaking views, breakfast to order from a variety of choices and wine and appetizers in the evening. We are not your grandmother's bed and breakfast. It's the place where you and your companion can find peace, solitude, beauty, and the time and place to rediscover yourselves and each other. Together you can have an elegant breakfast, take long walks, rest and talk undisturbed for hours, enjoy a wide variety of local activities and interests, sip local wines with accompanying appetizers, and watch the stars fall in the perfect dark. We're quiet but we're known. We have been featured on HGTV, Eye on the Bay, and KGO radio. Articles about us have been in Sunset, Prosper, Sierra Heritage, and many other magazines and newspapers. Movie stars, critics, writers, winemakers, artists and loads of even more entertaining folks celebrate their special occasions with us. We are regularly compared favorably with the best small (and much more expensive) inns in Napa, Sonoma and elsewhere. In spite of this, we keep things quiet, comfortable, personal and impeccable.

The best B&B we have ever visited. Mary Jo and Mike are wonderful hosts. The rooms are unique and amazing; there are only four. Access to ours was very easy. Impeccably clean. Views are stunning as are the large common areas and architecture. Food fabulous, both breakfasts and early evening snacks and wine, which were filling. Night skies crystal clear. We didn't want to leave!! What wonderful people, Mary Jo and Mike!
