Who needs to pay resort fees? Our guests never have. That's the message on one of the many customer thank-you notes that line our front desk at the Cinnamon Bear Inn. Guests praise the friendly B&B atmosphere of our Inn, tucked off Main Street next to a large wooded area. You don't have to sacrifice comfort and style for coziness, though, the rooms at the lodge feature four-poster beds, full baths, and cable TV. There's even an outdoor Jacuzzi. A full breakfast is included. A friendly, fun place to stay in Mammoth Lakes.

My husband and I had not experienced mammoth lakes before and our first time experience was made wonderful by Janelle and Rudy the Inn's managers and of course sara and Frieda also were outstanding. The Inn is very cozy with a warm woodsy feel to it. Our room right above the lobby was awesome and cozy. A family room with 3 beds and refrigerator tucked away. Sara checked us in and informed us that breakfast was served in the morning and wine and cheese was available in the afternoons. My kind of place. Checkin being at 3 were had already had a busy day hiking so we were ready for the relaxation.. Sara's contagious smile greeted us and made our checkin easy. We came down at 5 for wine and cheese to greet the managers Janelle and Rudy. Very pleasant people and full of information for our activities. The morning breakfast offered the usual cereal, O J coffee, But what a pleasant surprise when Rudy , whimsical, with a ponytail, gave a choice of that days menu. His cooking was outstanding the stuffed french toast was as good as it gets. Every day of our stay they offered us a choice of that days menu and Rudy did not disappoint us. Always smiling Janell and Rudy were more than informative. We will definitely return to this little piece of heaven. Oh I might add the beds and bathrooms were clean and efficient. We spent a Saturday night here on our way to Yosemite. Everyone was quite helpful, both to us and the other guests. Breakfast was delicious.

The room was gorgeous, the bed comfortable, the bathroom clean, but on that warm day and night, the A/C was inadequate. Having the front desk hours so limited was a real pain. Otherwise, it was very nice.

Welcome was from the heart.. Explanations of the hotel rules and environs were excellent. The breakfast was great. They make egg dishes as per your order; the rest like cereals, coffe, tea and OJ are self service. Great place, try it.

Janelle and Rudy are dedicated innkeepers. Janelle lights up the cozy dining and reception area with her infectious smile and cheerful voice, while Rudy's breakfast creations are absolutely sensational. When he's not in the kitchen, he's out servicing the hot tub daily and overseeing any property issues. We felt the housekeeping could have been a tad better, but this did not detract from our overall impression and experience and we will definitely be back next year for another Ski & Stay with Janelle and Rudy!

We have been staying here for over 25 years and are disappointed when we can't get a reservation. We look forward to the always delicious breakfast, and the evening wine reception is a nice bonus. A portion of the property was recently sold (so reservations can be difficult to get during peak seasons), but the remaining rooms have been refurbished and up-dated.

Love to check this place out in the summer.
Very small room, perfect for fishermen, hikers, boarders and others who spend most of their time outside in the beautiful surroundings of Mammoth Lakes. Ideal for one person but suitable for two. ONE FULL SIZE BED ONLY. Cannot accommodate rollaway beds or cribs. Private shower. Excellent view of the woods behind our property and comes with one of our signature breakfasts.
