Cinnamon Bear Inn Bed and Breakfast

113 Center Street , Mammoth Lakes, CA 93546-3338 USA (Show map)

Who needs to pay resort fees? Our guests never have. That's the message on one of the many customer thank-you notes that line our front desk at the Cinnamon Bear Inn. Guests praise the friendly B&B atmosphere of our Inn, tucked off Main Street next to a large wooded area. You don't have to sacrifice comfort and style for coziness, though, the rooms at the lodge feature four-poster beds, full baths, and cable TV. There's even an outdoor Jacuzzi. A full breakfast is included. A friendly, fun place to stay in Mammoth Lakes.

exceptional hospitality!

Janelle and Rudy are dedicated innkeepers. Janelle lights up the cozy dining and reception area with her infectious smile and cheerful voice, while Rudy's breakfast creations are absolutely sensational. When he's not in the kitchen, he's out servicing the hot tub daily and overseeing any property issues. We felt the housekeeping could have been a tad better, but this did not detract from our overall impression and experience and we will definitely be back next year for another Ski & Stay with Janelle and Rudy!

Loved the room and it was in a good location. Rudy and Janelle and other staff were helpful for my first trip there.

Best kept secret at Mammoth

3.8 on March 29, 2016

We have been staying here for over 25 years and are disappointed when we can't get a reservation. We look forward to the always delicious breakfast, and the evening wine reception is a nice bonus. A portion of the property was recently sold (so reservations can be difficult to get during peak seasons), but the remaining rooms have been refurbished and up-dated.

Love to check this place out in the summer.

Cinnamon Bear Good Value Experience

4.6 on January 10, 2016

We thought the Cinnamon Bear was quaint and convenient. We were disappointed that "happy hour" was not happening, due to the fact they are in the process of obtaining a liquor license. The staff was very quick to help us identify other very good happy hours in the neighborhood though. Breakfast was ok, but we wished it were more delectable. The room was excellent, staff super helpful, service also really terrific.

Excellent value, friendly and helpful staff.

Missing Reservation for Creekside

4.0 on October 11, 2015

We loved our stay at Cinnamon Bear; however, our stay was at the Creekside Inn in Sonoma. Our reservation was sent to Mammoth instead and when we arrive in Sonoma, we had no reservation. The hostess was very nice and found us a place to stay for that evening and we returned to two nights at Creekside. Lovely place and met some nice people. Breakfast on the first morning (Friday) was delicious. The next morning was the morning we had to leave and breakfast was not being served until around 9:00 which meant we had to go without breakfast. Other than those two mishaps - our stay was lovely. We would come again but I will call two or three times to make sure our reservations are in the right place.
