Come stay at Rochester's Mansion! This decadently furnished Victorian mansion was originally owned by the late Edmund Lincoln Anderson, also known as Eddie "Rochester" Anderson - an American comedian and actor. His most famous role was that of Rochester van Jones, usually known simply as "Rochester", the valet of Jack Benny, on his radio and television shows. Today, “The Mansion” is owned and managed by his son Edmund Anderson, Jr., and is open as a bed and breakfast accommodating people from all over the world touring the beautiful city of Los Angeles. We promise our guests a home away from home – you will most definitely want to extend your stay! Our superlative accommodation includes complimentary Wi-Fi & cable along with breakfast, daily housekeeping, and a full staff always available for assistance. You are also more than welcome to enjoy the rest of our house – we allow our guests full-access to all the common areas (living room, kitchen, laundry room, etc.). We also are more than happy to provide you with directions to various attractions around LA! We are located in mid-city Los Angeles, so we are equidistant to all attractions (beaches, Hollywood, Downtown LA, etc.), and the general rule is that it takes 20 minutes to get anywhere in LA. The house is also within walking distance of a train station (The Expo Line), as well as several bus lines.
