Absolutly the best B&B in Joshua Tree!!

    February 19, 2012

We spent 2 wonderful days and nights with Carrie at the Desert Lily B&B. Carrie is a fantastic host, spectacular breakfast chef and great conversationalist. Lots of fun. Carrie directed us to local hikes and dinner venues (dont' miss Pappy and Harriets). The room was quiet and cozy. The home was designed very well, and provides a wonderful sunny courtyard, protected from the wind. We will recommend the Desert Lily to all of our friends heading out to Joshua Tree. We will definatly be back.

Fantastic, richly simple, cozy, heartwarming inn. Colorful rooms, friendly affable hostess Carrie helps you settle in with a glass of port and recommendations for your trip or solitude, your choice. Hearty, healthy breakfast in a warm environment, cozy bed, and outdoor chimenea without the bother of TV

    Great place, great hosts!

    March 15, 2010

We had a wonderful stay. A very relaxing place to spend a night or two. Carrie and Bob were very accomodating without being intrusive. Their stories alone are worth the stay. The food was very good, the room was very comfortable. They think of everything...the room had backpacks, coolers, sunblock, games, books, even Q-tips! We look forward to gong back, which is the highest compliment we can give.

    Great Experience!

    April 30, 2008

We enjoyed our stay at the Desert Lily immensely. We stayed in the small house and enjoyed all the "touches/extras" provided such as availabilty of all appliances including BBQ, fire pit right down to flashlights for walking or hiking in the evenings. The bed in the living room - yes in the living room was so unique - you would go to sleep looking at stars and wake up to a beautiful view of the desert. We would recommend anyone interested in hiking in the Joshua Tree National Park consider a stay at the Desert Lily as it is situated so near to the park.

    Wonderful Getaway!

    November 07, 2007

We just returned from spending three nights at the Desert Lily B&B. We had a wonderful experience. The inkeeper is great and the Desert Lily is a welcoming place to stay. #1. Carrie is a fabulous breakfast cook! Simply amazing! #2. Our room was clean and welcoming and had everything we needed. #3. The dining room and patio was a great place for us to visit with each other, borrow books and games to play, and relax in comfort. #4. If you visit, don't forget to enjoy the stars on one of the hammocks and take a romantic walk on the Desert Lily property. We will definitely return to this B&B!
