We made a reservation in the morning and drove up in the afternoon. It was lovely to have a comfortable place to get away from the city and to enjoy the winter in Idyllwild! The bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. We also appreciated the little touches, like flashlights specifically for guests to use while walking the unlit streets at night.

    A wonderful experience...I'll be back.

My husband, daughter and I recently stayed at the Rainbow Inn. It is conveniently located within walking distance of "downtown" and is charmingly appointed, comfortable and cozy. The proprieters make it feel as if they have invited you into their home....and they actually have. We'll certainly be staying at Rainbow Inn again.

I enjoyed very much my stay with all my family at the Rainbow Inn. Rooms are very nice. Backyard is great as you can walk to a creek. The house and rooms are very pretty and it is close to the village.
