Our secluded cottage, designed by reknowned eco-architect Michelle Kaufman features glass walls that open onto a 1500 sq ft deck making the home extremely expansive. On 7+ acres of wooded privacy with a trail leading to the lake. 100% green building materials and completely off-grid, the cottage offers peace and tranquility as well as quick access to the area's quaint towns and attractions. Opened in 2009 and appointed with fine contemporary art and high end eco-friendly furnishings, the Lotus Lake House offers a unique low carbon footprint vacation!

Unlike a traditional B&B, you'll have total privacy and breakfast is provided at your requested time so you can stay in bed and gaze at the lake, the deer and the birds all you want!

Damage/pet deposits will be fully refunded in the event of cancellation. If we can re-book the property for all or part of your reserved stay we will refund that part of your payment. We care a lot about the environment which is why we built our dream house with recycled materials and operate off-grid. When the Lake House is not rented we can be seen on the deck drinking wine, listening to NPR and playing with our wire fox terrier, Abbie.
