I've stayed a few times so far and everytime is just amazing! You definitely get your money's worth! The rooms are reasonable and you get a wine reception in the evenings with wine and appetizers and a wonderful, full homemade breakfast in the morning. The owners are so nice and really make you feel like your at home. I absolutely love it here and best of all, it's close to all the Fairplay wineries I love! I will not stay anywhere else when I'm in town! Lucinda's all the way :)

We stayed at Lucindas for New Years Eve. They offered a beautiful private room and served a delicious NYE dinner. They were very organized, friendly, and the house was awesome!! I will definitely be staying there again! A fun day of wine tasting and you don't have to drive back home!

My wife and I stayed at Lucinda’s Country Inn for one night a few days ago, but we did not find the inn owners friendly: We arrived at 2:10 p.m. on Friday; although, I had earlier said we would arrive by 4 p.m. Instead of welcoming us, Lucinda scolded me for arriving 1 hour and 50 minutes earlier; although, our room was ready. I had to forcibly introduce myself and my wife to Lucinda, as she did not introduce herself nor say “Welcome.” As we walked into the inn’s main house, Daryl barely said hello nor gestured to shake my hand. Upon making my reservation a few weeks earlier by telephone, I asked Daryl if his inn has a handicapped-accessible room. After my wife and I unpacked and settled into our room, Daryl grilled my wife of what kind of handicap inflicts her. (She had three hip-replacement surgeries in the past six years). When my wife started to make friendly small-talk with Lucinda on the outdoor patio, she turned around and walked away from us. The inn owners’ pleasantness only softened when we were around the four other overnight guests during the Friday afternoon cocktail hour and Saturday morning breakfast. The inn and our guest room were very clean and well-decorated. But, the hosts’ unfriendly attitude soured our experience.
The wife and Daryl compared their hip replacement surgeries. Daryl had both his replaced a few years before hers and how lucky Daryl was to not have problems. Daryl also shared that a friend of ours had a knee replacement that failed and also became part of a TV lawyer’s class action suit. As always there is a lot to do to get ready for guest arrivals, so when a guest arrives a couple hours early, it is difficult not to be surprised by the arrival. As when either Cindy or Daryl have things to do it becomes necessary to end a conversation and excuse themselves to tend to other matters. The husband wrote this review, so maybe his wife has a different perspective. We appreciate the kind words about Lucinda’s Country Inn. We always strive to keep Lucinda’s spotless.

We have stayed before but brought my Mom for the first time to enjoy the experience of the B&B. Daryl and Cindy did a wonderful job on the Mother's Day Champagne Brunch. We enjoyed our stay greatly. Favorite rooms are the Country Suite and the Vineyard Suite. My Mom thanks Cindy for sending so quickly some very important items left in room! Looking forward to our next stay soon:)
We make certain things left behind are linked up with their owners so everyone will be happy, that's our job and, more important, our pleasure to make everyone happy.
