Our PENTHOUSE SUITE pampers you with a California King bed with luxurious memory foam topper. Light-weight feather duvets nestled inside silk or damask covers add comfort for a cool night at the beach. The private deck offers spectacular sunset views and the perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine or cup of tea - not to mention the pleasure of your own private hot tub overlooking the Pacific Ocean, complete with plush terry cloth robes. Located in a secluded corner of the second floor with its own entry, the Penthouse Suite features vaulted ceilings, color TV, wi-fi, coffee maker, refrigerator and bath with separate whirlpool tub and shower.

MOONGLOW ROOM: Reminiscent of your favorite beach bungalow bedroom, Moonglow features a gently whitewashed wrought-iron queen bed stead, étagère and table complimented with mahogany chairs, chest of drawers and hand painted antique lamps. Gently smiling moon décor enhances the Moonglow theme; hand-pressed bed linens are dressed with seasonal matelassé coverlets.
The Serenity Suite sleeps 4. The secluded comforts of a gracious space are yours when you reserve our Serenity Suite. Sophisticated warm tones encompass the large great room furnished with a king size bed, maple high top table and four chairs. The added ambiance of a gas fireplace, oriental runners, antique oak secretary and hand carved chandelier complete the charming atmosphere. The functionality of the well appointed kitchenette allows easy preparation of coffee, tea and refreshments. Your refrigerator is stocked with juice, ice, yogurt and breakfast condiments upon arrival while the morning finds fresh fruit delivered to the bistro table outside the suite. If your party includes more than two people, the bedroom will be unlocked for your use. Both beds are furnished with our high quality linens, feather pillows and suitable duvets for the season. Wireless internet, hairdryer, coffee maker and toaster are all provided.
The Beach Suite sleeps up to 4. Warm blue tones in the quilts or seashell matelassé coverlets provide the theme of Beach. Relax in your Lay-Z-Boy recliner to the gentle, pleasant sounds of the waterfall just steps away from your window. The maple and wrought iron queen bedstead brings back memories of sleepy nights on the sea shore. For extra guests, Beach offers a double day-bed that pulls out into two individual twin beds. The Inn at Moonlight Beach overlooks beautiful Moonlight Beach just two blocks away. There are no San Diego Bed & Breakfasts any closer to the ocean. My rooms and suites recall a lovely French Seaside Inn. Each morning I bake warm-from-the-oven pastries for you to enjoy with your home-made breakfast. All this, yet my prices are $50-$75 less than similar accommodations, even though my Inn is closer to the Pacific Ocean than any Encinitas Hotel.

A friend and I stayed for 3 nights in early December. The inn was charming and our room was clean. Perfect location for walking into town and to the beach. Breakfasts were delicious and abundant. Ann and Terry were friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend staying at the Inn at Moonlight Beach and will be returning when in the area again. Rebecca M., from CT

A lovely clean place very close to the beach and down town Encinitas. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and it is well set up for storing and washing surfboards if you've come to the area to surf.

My husband and I went to celebrate our November Birthdays and mostly to relax. The stay couldn't have been more restful. The place was immaculate and very serene, just what we were looking for. The room was cozy and the breakfasts were healthy and appetizing. We enjoyed the surrounding Encinitas area with it's small town and charming feel. There were plenty of fine restaurants to choose from and it was lovely to be able to stroll along the downtown area. We look to return soon, as everyone couldn't be any nicer.

My daughter and I recently came to Southern Cal for a birthday trip for her. I found the Inn at Moonlight Beach online and was pleasantly surprised by the price! We stayed there 2 nights, driving about 45 minutes each way to the San Diego Zoo Safari Park in between. I highly recommend staying here vs. a not-so-great-quality hotel for the same price, even if the hotel is closer to your destination! (Keep in mind that 3 stars means it met my expectations.)

I had a wonderful 3 days. Jane was "Inn-sitting" during my stay and she was great. Between the lovely town, the gorgeous beach and the comfy Inn, I felt very at home and cared for. Already planning my next trip.
