The historic Goodman House B&B is located close to downtown on the tree-lined Esplanade. Within walking distance to Chico State, Enloe Hospital, and great restaurants. A sense of luxury, comfort and warmth are evident throughout the house. The five tasteful guest rooms feature queen beds, private baths, fireplaces, ceiling fans, television, and wifi. Guests enjoy sumptuous breakfasts using fresh local ingredients and complimentary afternoon tea, as well as weekend social hour for guests.

My wife and I have stayed at the Goodman House on several trips to Chico. It is an outstanding Bed & Breakfast Inn run in a very friendly way by wonderful hosts. We'll continue to make it a regular stop and highly recommend it.

My husband and I spent our first night of our honeymoon here and we loved it. The Innkeepers make it such a pleasant experience. I would love to come back here again. I recommend it to anyone looking for a bed and breakfast in Chico.

From the South: I-5 north to Hiway 32. Exit and travel east following signs to Chico(about 30 miles). At East Avenue signal light, turn left. Follow East Ave. 2 miles to Esplande signal light, turn right. Continue to 4th Avenue, the house is on the east corner. Turn left on 4th Avenue and enter the parking lot at the rear of the house. From the North: I-5 south to Hiway 32. Exit and follow above directions from "following signs to Chico..." *Note, Chico had numbered Avenues and numbered streets - they are different!!

From the Sacramento Airport: I-5 south toward Sacramento. Exit toward Hiway 99 Marysville-Yuba City. Continue on H-99 north to Chico. Take the 1st Avenue exit. Turn left from offramp onto 1st Avenue. Go to Esplande signal light, turn right. Continue to 4th Avenue, the house is on the east corner. Turn right on 4th Avenue and enter the parking lot at the rear of the house.
