The King size bed could have been more comfortable, but the room was very clean and roomy. Nice view. Nice fireplace. Quiet. A good value.

My partner and I visited Carmel as part of a tour of the Coastal Highway in Feb 09, and having not previously booked, arrived at the Wayfarer Inn on the day we wanted to stay. The price quoted was excellent, staff very helpful and friendly. The whole stay was an absolute pleasure and one of the many memorable highlights of our holiday. Superb service, comfort and cleanliness at a very generous rate. Carmel was a fantastic experience that will stay with me for many years, and our stay here was the icing on the cake! Justin, UK

While visiting in Carmel we found this Inn to be more than our expectation.We needed to get away and de-stresss and found this Inn to be very warm and cozy,the staff very nice and helpfull.We walked to the beach and to some great sight seeing in the area and just relaxed.Fresh baked cookies were awaiting us upon our arrival back to the Inn ,and we were able to enjoy a glass of wine and cheese before we went out to dine.The breakfast included make yourself waffle's ,baked goodies,boiled eggs,yogurt and home made granola,,bread,bagles,tea,coffee,and juices which we enjoyed to the warmth of the fireplace in the dining room.We are definitely returning soon and highly recommend to family and friends.

My husband and I stayed couple of night's at the charming Inn .The room was cozy,clean and very roomy.Fabulous location ,you can walk everywhere you need to.Staff was very friendly and attentive.Enjoyed the wine and cheese in the beautifull coutyard which was relaxing after the hectic day.Highly recommend to friends and family.

We have stayed in this inn several times. I have always found it cozy & clean. The last time we stayed in a room with a kitchenette. It was a lovely stay.
