The hostess, Denise, has thought of everything and more! Wished we had stayed the third night instead of spending $100 for a room in Paso Robles. Stay there!

We will certainly stay at the Sea Star again! It is a lovely spot, quiet, private, scenic and very close to town with great restaurants and shops. Beautiful, exquisitely clean room, refreshingly decorated with a contemporary sea theme. We enjoyed the garden and potted plants, especially the variety of succulents. You can see the ocean from the top garden. We loved our long walk on the boardwalk. The owners were friendly, helpful and available but not intrusive. We left a precious item behind and Denise kindly mailed it to us quickly. The room has a small fridge and coffee pot, tea pot. We enjoyed our breakfast in bed tremendously, so nice not to have to dress and traipse down to a dining room full of strangers. We have enjoyed meeting new people at other B&B's, but I really prefer being on our own. The fruit plate was excellent, and so handy to have tea and coffee right away. There was a nice surprise of strawberry jam and lemon curds for the scones, which were terrific. We also liked the tart yogurt with homemade granola. We appreciated the eco-friendly focus and all the personal touches - robes, slippers, picnic basket, original art, basket of shampoos etc. There is lots of light in the room, and the bed was very comfortable with quality sheets and towels, and lots of pillows for reading in bed. We especially loved the little gas stove in the corner, it was just enough heat to chase off the October chill in the evening. Our stay was only for two nights, but was so refreshing we felt like it was twice that long.

The Central Coast is a lovely place to visit, and The Sea Star makes it all the more charming. The Brill's have created a mini-paradise of relaxation, with incredible views and thoughtful touches. The private patio is an oasis, whether for reading, reflecting or talking. And the upstairs deck boasts the best sunset views in town. Inside, The Sea Star is beautifully furnished and exceptionally clean and comfortable. It's the small things that make you not want to leave - the French press, the fruit platter, the robes and slippers, and the maps of the beach walks. Plus, the area - in town in Cambria, or down the highway in Morro Bay, Paso Robles and other spots - has nearly everything you could ever want to do in a weekend. Or, if you'd rather spend an evening at "home," hearing the waves crash and the seals bark, The Sea Star is the place.

Our stay was wonderful! Denise paid close attention to detail in preparing for her guests. We were able to rest, unwind and enjoy the town.

My wife and I were there for our 22nd Anniversary. The Sea Star was very clean and cozzy. We met Denise when we got there and she was very nice and showed us around the house. We felt like we were at our little home away from home. Very quiet and comfortable. My wife liked it so much we are planning on going back next year! Thank you Daniel and Denise!

Denise & Daniel, You have a place of simple tranquility. Where artistry and nature meet in perfect harmony. A place where you can see, hear & feel an energy of the ocean. A place to relax & re energize. Thank you very much, Irina & Gera

My new wife and I stayed at the Sea Star for three nights on our honeymoon trip to the central coast. Denise and Daniel made our stay very special and left us a bottle of wine in the room, along with some nice breakfast items (homemade scones and banana bread!). We had a great stay and didn't even see them once we were checked in. The Sea Star is in a quiet neighborhood, and we enjoyed walking down to the beach at sunset. We walked the Fiscalini Ranch Preserve trail and explored the tide pools, saw a group of twenty seals on the rocks, and saw a small family of dolphins swim by! We enjoyed the area so much and can't wait to go back. We used the wi-fi to look up Hearst Castle tickets (which were sold out, but we scored some the next day for the awesome night tour). BUT the best part - Denise and Daniel made reservations for us at Madeline's restaurant in Cambria and left us a gift card for two entrees. The chef there gave us a dinner and a night to remember and we were so happy with the way everything went. Extra points for the slippers and robes in the closet. We had an amazing time and can't wait to go back!

The Sea Star is a quiet, well-appointed B&B. Lovely hostess, nothing was lacking. We even had a sweet visit by a deer & two fawns!

The guest quarters are attached to the main house, but have a private outside entrance and lovely wind chimes and gurgling fountain provided the soundtrack -- lovely!

Our host and hostess have left nothing lacking in this cozy studio. Lovely beach oriented decor, high quality linens, fruit and sweets breakfast, quiet patio. We thoroughly enjoyed our few peaceful days. This area of Cambria is nestled in the pines, and a short walk to spectacular ocean views. We enjoyed our private hide-away!
