3.8 out of 5Good stay
February 08, 2013
It was my wife and I first time here. We loved the location. Rooms were nice very boutique feel. The only thing I was dissatisfied on was the tv in next to the fire place. It wasn't hooked up and I was not informed of that when I checked in. No biggie just kinda bothered me that they didn't tell us when we checked in.
4.0 out of 5bed fine, location fine, breakfast bad
February 26, 2012
Great location near main street, beds very comfortable, breakfast was a fruit cup and a micro pastry delivered around 845, which was 1045 in the time zone I just left. No coffee avilable until delivered with the carb basket. If you are up and hungry eat at the mercardo across the street and get a homemade brekfast burriito made to order.
4.0 out of 5Excellent Weekend!
February 14, 2012
I traveled to this B & B for a quick weekend getaway and it was very nice. The rooms are nicely decorated and the breakfast was perfect. The absolute best part about this B & B is the location. Even though I thought the price per night was a little high, the location more than made up for it because of the closeness to downtown and the wineries.

It was a great stay when my husband and I were on our honeymoon. The room was beautiful and the people we dealt with were very nice. We can not wait to go back!

2.2 out of 5Innkeepers were the best part
July 19, 2011
We had booked Room 3 through bedandbreakfast.com. When we arrived, there was no record of our reservation. Fortunately, the innkeepers provided us with a room, apparently an upgrade from our original reservation (Room 20). However, the floor looked as if it had not been vacuumed; of the two heads in the shower, only one ever produced any hot water; the hair dryer was farther from the mirror than the cord would stretch; and the television couldn't be viewed from the chairs near the fireplace since the four-poster bed post was in right in the middle of the screen across the room. The breakfast was yogurt with fruit and Grapenuts, some orange juice and a small carafe of coffee; not a breakfast which would be included with a pricey room. All in all, we would not book this one again.
Innkeeper Response
Christopher's Inn has been in business for 23 years, and over this time we cotniue to recieve literally hundreds of positive reviews on TripAdvisor and other sites. Unfortunately there are those very few who do not appreciate our elegant style furniture and the delicious expanded contenal breakfast we bring to the rooms in baskets. Freshly baked croissants, fresh ground coffee and just squeezed orange juice, fresh fruit and yogurt compote all designed to give you a light delicious start to your day all did not appeal to this guest. The sunptuous four poster canopy bed is placed for the occupants to enjoy TV from the bed and from the coffee table where you can spread out your breakfast and catch the morning news. Those chairs he spoke of are accross the very large room and are placed to enjoy the cozy fireplace and not to watch the "tube". I personally tested the double shower heads and both produced hot watter instantly. Perhape this fellow is not acquainted with modern plubmbing fixtures. The floor is covered with strongly paterned expensive oriental carpets that to this perso's unappreciative eyemay have looked un-vacumed, which was certainly not the case.I am truely baffeled about the hair dryer. At all appearances it adaquetly allows its use to dry hair. We are inspected annually by AAA who would certainly make note of poorly placed hair dryers.
