My husband and I were looking for a nice, relaxing getaway for our 5th wedding anniversary. We had three requirements: private, affordable, and cool.. With only 5 rooms, this offered the privacy we wanted. In fact, the first night, we were the only couple there! The next night, we had three other couples check in, but it didn't seem crowded at all! The price was unbelievable for the superb location (2 min from snow summit!), the excellent accommodations, and the very generous and helpful innkeeper! This was worth every penny! The weather was just right up our alley! Coming from 100°+ weather, the mid 70's we enjoyed were heaven! It was a bit nippy in the early morning, but we never got out before midday. Overall, the three night stay was magical! Mitch was amazing, and very accompdating! He pointed us to restaurants, to sights, and made us feel very welcome. It was like being with family the entire weekend! Mitch is a wonderful conversationalist, and an even better chef! He knew when we wanted to chat, and he knew when we just wanted to hang out on the couch in the sitting area.. He served us a very hearty breakfast all three days, and made sure we had everything we needed in our room. We WILL be returning again.. More than likely going to make this a new anniversary tradition!
