High in the San Bernardino Mountains you will find the Eagle's Nest Bed and Breakfast Lodge and Cottage Suites. Located in the heart of Big Bear, Eagle's Nest is close to the lake, major ski resorts, quaint shops and gracious dining. Our more than 300 annual days of sunshine afford you the opportunity to enjoy a variety of outdoor activities any season of the year.

We offer two types of accommodations for your enjoyment. The Bed and Breakfast Lodge is a Ponderosa style log cabin. Each of the five guest rooms has a TV and private bath. Additionally, all rooms are appointed with either a gas or electric fireplace. The upstairs rooms feature old fashioned clawfoot tubs for that perfect bubble bath. The rooms are named after western movies: Rio Bravo, Zorro, Cat Ballou, Hallelujah Trail and Butch and Sundance. Stained glass windows, antiques and lodge decor complete the log cabin. Coffee, tea or hot chocolate is delivered to your room one half-hour before we serve you a hearty breakfast in the dining area.

Choose a more secluded accommodation in one of our five Cottage Suites. Snuggle in front of a river rock fireplace or relax in the luxury of your own whirlpool tub. Housed in two log style buildings, each of the Cottage Suites is individually decorated to enhance the mountain and romantic atmosphere. All have a wood burning fireplace and are accented with in-room whirlpool tubs. For your convenience, all suites include ceiling fans, a TV, DVD/VCR, CD player/clock radio, mini-refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker.

Directions to property:
From Los Angeles and Orange Counties:
From Interstate 10 East take Interstate 210 (to Highland/Running Springs) to HWY 330 (to MTN Resorts) and start up the mountain. At Running Springs, HWY 330 ends and connects with HWY 18. Stay on HWY 18 to Big Bear Lake. At the lake, turn right staying on HWY 18. Continue about 5 miles, HWY 18 is now also Big Bear Blvd. At the downtown area of Big Bear Lake, make a left on Paine Rd (stoplight), just before "The Village". As Paine Rd curves to the right, it becomes Lakeview Dr, continue straight. At the signal, Lakeview Dr becomes Big Bear Blvd, continue straight. We are about 1 mile down on the right side. When you see a sign for Valley Professional Center (tall sign advertising numerous businesses), we are the driveway past their sign. Our sign is set back and hard to see. There is a short redwood fence at the front of our property which borders the sidewalk. If you pass Carl's Jr.'s, then you also passed us. You can turn right by Carl's Jr.'s and turn right on Brownie Ln and enter on the back side of our property.
From San Diego County:
Take Interstate 15 to Interstate 215 at Temecula. Take Interstate 215 to Interstate 10 East. Be aware that Interstate 215 merges briefly with Interstate 60. Watch for the sign to stay on the 215. Take Interstate 215 to Interstate 10 East. Continue by following the above Los Angeles/Orange County directions.
From the high desert:
From Interstate 15 in Victorville, go East on Bear Valley Rd to HWY 18. Stay on Hwy 18 to Big Bear Lake. When coming into the Big Bear area, watch for the sign to take HWY 18 left. You will then turn right on Big Bear Blvd., which also becomes HWY 18 at this junction. After about 4 miles you will cross Summit Blvd. (stoplight). We will be one block up on the left. There will be a Carl's Jr.'s, then a log style building and then Eagle's Nest.
From Las Vegas:
Take Interstate 15 South to Barstow. Then take HWY 247 South to the Lucerne Valley/HWY 18. Stay on Hwy 18

Up to a 30 day notice may be required for holiday periods. * If a cancellation is necessary within the 5 day prior to arrival period, we will do our best to re-rent the room to another guest. * No refunds for early departures. * A $25 processing fee is charged for any cancellation at any time.
