Enjoy its quiet secluded tranquility on a hilltop on the Central Coast of California surrounded by oak trees, and overlooking the Pismo Dunes and the Pacific Ocean. The spa is located in a rural area above and between Pismo Beach and Arroyo Grande, California with mild coastal weather. Our spa is a "totally green" spa. The Mediterranean style 3500 Sq. Ft. house is was constructed so that every room except the garage, laundry room and one bathroom have an ocean view. The 50’ heated lap pool, Jacuzzi, and meditation garden are directly behind the house looking toward the ocean. The center below houses the therapy rooms, complete fitness center, walk in steam room, loft, and bathroom.

"This is the greatest B&B that I've ever stayed at. Its emphasis on health and nutrition, plus the wonderful ambiance, ocean views, and basic serenity of the setting, made my stay one of most restful, that I've ever experienced. Ed and Di are not only extraordinary host, they are a fantastic source of medical and holistic knowledge on stress reduction, exercise, proper nutrition and good health. This was my second stay and I will return.

The stay at Centaur Health Resort and Spa was wonderful. The room, the atmosphere, and the views are awesome. It was very restful and peaceful. I appreciate the great tips on health and the specific information you provide for my specific health needs. I enjoy the area and riding ATVs on the dunes. A great experience and I will return. Great place to stay. Proprietors are very welcoming and good hosts; location is very private and quiet; and facilities are amazing (love the steam room!). Would definitely stay again. Also love the proximity to the highway - makes site-seeing up and down the coast easy. We made lots of use of scenic Route 1: visited Hearst Castle, saw the elephant seal beaches, went to historic Salvang (try the aebleskivers if you can find them), and more. It was a great trip. Dianna Muraski earned her B.S. in Kinesiology With additional study in Sports Medicine. She worked in hospital setting in physical therapy with accident victims, diabetic ulcers, arthritis, and pre-and post-surgical situations. She worked at the Nathan Pritikin Center in Cardiac Rehab and Neuromuscular Therapy for arthritis and Strokes. At the Pritikin Center Diane learned from Pritikin how to combine diet, exercise, and education to help individuals.
