    Family owned and operated since 1969. What exactly is Fort Recovery?: Fort Recovery Beachfront Villa & Suites Hotel is a small, unique hotel located on Tortola, British Virgin Islands and is family owned & operated since 1969. This hotel has a rich history, with endless stories behind every selection, from the color schemes on the wall to it's eclectic reception area and knowledgeable staff. Unlike most hotels, you won't find "rooms", instead all accommodations are suites (bedroom, living room, kitchen or kitchenette, bath, patio/balcony/deck) or, if one really wants to indulge, staying in the gorgeous eight Bedroom Beach Villa. Achievements: Chosen by Discovery's Travel Channel, Fort Recovery was the only Hotel Selected on Tortola for their Caribbean Exclusive showcase. This property is well known amongst repeat and new guests' for it's private garden Restaurant, exclusively for it's guests', with one of the top Chef's in the BVI. They were also chosen as Captain's Guide Magazine's "Best Resort by the Reader's of the Captain's Guide Magazine".

    • Cancellations: Fort Recovery Hotels & Resorts Cancellation Policy Between April 15th to December 17th (Bequia/Tortola Hotels): A 3-night deposit is required to secure all reservations. Cancellation of your reservation must be received no later than 45days prior to the arrival date or be charged for 3 nights plus credit card charges. No shows and short stays (3 nights and less) will result in full forfeiture of the entire stay. Between December 18th to April 14th (Bequia/Tortola Hotels): A 3-night deposit is required to secure all reservations. Cancellation of your reservation must be received no later than 60 days prior to the arrival date or be charged for 3 nights plus credit card charges. No shows and short stays (3 nights and less) will result in full forfeiture of the entire stay. The Beach Villa - Fort Recovery Tortola, 2008-2010: A 50% deposit is required to secure reservation. Cancellation of your reservation must be received no later than 60 days prior to arrival date or forfeit deposit which may be applied toward a future stay within a year.

From San Juan, Puerto Rico (SJU) – Half-hour flight to Beef Island Airport (EIS), Tortola. 40 minutes taxi to the resort ($20/person). Passports: US & Canadian citizens are required to produce proof of citizenship – a passport, notarized or original birth certificate and photo I.D. are required. Currency is US dollar ($) and the electrical current is 110 volt.
