Golden Dreams Bed and Breakfast

I have stayed in condos, hotels, and lodges all over Whistler but none compare to the comfort, service, and cleanliness of Golden Dreams! I highly recommend anyone looking for a place to stay in Whistler to contact the Golden Dreams B&B! I am now a regular customer at both the B&B as well as the Town Plaza condos. I wont stay anywhere else in Whistler!!

My friend and I had an Amazing stay at Golden Dreams B&B! It felt homey and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing! The room was clean and decorated lovely. I would suggest this place to anyone I know.

This is our third visit to Golden Dream within the past year. After every visit in Golden Dream we already thinking about when do we want to return- it truly is a home away from home. Ann could not be a better hostess, she took care of all of our needs and went above and beyond to make sure we are having a good time and helped us with whatever we needed. The b&b is full of sweet and thoughtful touches like home made cookies, small snacks and surprises , wide range of teas, classic music, lotions and creams in the bathroom and much more. Ann's breakfast is simply to die for, it is the perfect way to start your day. The hot tub, lovely guest lounge kitchen and beautiful balcony are also added bonus especially if you are traveling in a group. Golden Dreams is one of our favorite places and we cannot wait to be back.

From the moment we stepped into Golden Dreams B & B we felt comfortable and relaxed. Hosts Ann and Terry made us feel welcome and treated us like family that they hadn't seen in awhile. Clean and cozy. Will definately return.

We stayed for three nights whilst visiting Whistler and found this to be a good B&B in a convenient location. Our hostess was friendly and helpful and I have no reservations about staying here again.

We stayed at Golden Dreams at the beginning of June for 4 nights and have to stay we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Ann and Terry Spence the hosts made us feel very welcome and showed us to our Black bear themed room, plenty of room to offload our overflowing backpacks, dressing gowns and slippers were at hand. We had a shared bathroom downstairs which ended up just being used by us, large whirlpool bath and powerful shower overhead, very spacious and well decorated. We went to Whistler to enjoy the mountains and being keen bikers wanted to hire bikes and do some single track trails. Ann was more than happy to point us in the right direction, a keen cyclist herself she directed us to some of the best tracks and where to go to hire our bikes, we could also keep them secured at Golden Dreams. To the rear of the B&B we could access all the tracks within 30 seconds, ideally located near to Whistler Golf Course, Lost Lake and all the other lakes in the area. After a full day of cycling we relaxed in the hot tub on the balcony. We had full use of the upstairs living area, 'chilling' out on the leather sofa, reading or watching a bit of television and could use the kitchen to make a drink or small snack. Ann's breakfasts were definitely a highlight, organic, fruity, healthy and definitely set us up for a day of biking!! Our favourite being the smoked salmon and scrambled egg!! All in all we would recommend the Golden dreams to everyone and will hopefully get back to Whistler for a skiing holiday. Jenny, UK, June 2012

We had a wonderful stay and had such a warm welcome that it felt a bit like coming home after a long journey. We stayed in the Rain Forest Room and though the room had all comfort needed, we would have preferred the bath room to be en suit (bath room was across the hall ). Also room was across the kitchen and next to the living room, which gave us a bit of an uncomfortable feeling regarding privacy. Overall we had a wonderful stay with a wonderful host!

We had a very nice time in the Golden Dreams B&B. Our hosts helped us in every way they could and made it easy for us to enjoy our days in Whistler. Thank you very much!

this is our second time in Golden Dreams, and we cant wait to come back! The house is amazing to come back to at the end of of a day on the slopes, Ann has put in so many little touches like popcorn, chocolates, brownies and afternoon drinks are some of those treats that make you feel just like at home. The breakfast is more than amazing and the place is perfect for groups (we were a group of 6) and having the guest kitchen is great if you want to stay in one night and cook. Ann and Terry always like to help with whatever they can and we really couldn't ask for more. we will back for sure:)

Last minute one night trip to Whistler, and as most of the hotels were full or exorbitantly priced (over $400/night) we thought of going the B and B route. It worked out perfectly. We loved meeting our hosts, bed was very comfy, and although our host was in a cross country ski competition the next morning, so no hot breakfast, what she provided was tasty and more than enough (a good morning trifle/pastries, phenomenal coffee). Most importantly ....who doesn't want the opportunity to sleep on Easy Street?!

We love last minute bookings too! Especially glad that we are affordable for WHISTLER. We hit it off immediately with these guests and could have visited all night....but they were off to an exciting evening at the World cup Bobsled competation at Whistler Olympic Sliding Centre. Glad bed was comfy and in my absense "Breakfast Trifle Parfait" and fresh croistants plus PHENOMENAL COFFEE hit the spot. (it truly is all about the coffee!! A comfortable house if you like to be in close quarters. We chose to stay in the Rainforest Room on the top floor. Be mindful that the door to the room is 2 feet from the guest kitchen and breakfast area. If guests are cooking at night, you'll smell the food all night in your room! Bed was a bit too soft for both our needs. Best part of the experience is the walk to the village along the golf course. Easy enough to do without having to take your car into town. Otherwise, a respectable B&B with friendly hosts.

It was sheer coincidence that BOTH in-house parties decided to have "dinner at home" and take advantage of our guest kitchen that weekend. Please note: we have replaced the mattress plus reinforced the bed frame in the RAINFOREST ROOM making it firmer and more comfortable (see review above). Thanks for bringing it to our attention.

I liked the character of the house and the hosts. The breakfast was like a breath of fresh air as it was quality home cooking. We found it convenient to be able to walk in to the village in the evening!

Wonderful diggs that really helped us all relax and make ourselves comfartable. The hot-tub was sooo good. Ann was such a blessing as she made us super tasty breakfasts and gave us all the area info we needed to get to dinner and have some fun. This was the second time here and this time I also brought my parents who were vacationing in the area. I know they also enjoyed. Thanks Ann!

The host was outstanding and very helpful with recommendations about the area. Easy to get around all of Whistler from this B & B. The breakfast was excellent. The room was clean and quite large enough. The amenities were good. The only drawback was the shower. It was difficult to get in and out of the shower.

The breakfast wasn't very good, maybe my tast buds! The room was like a dungon. The hostes was awesome and had lots of good ideas.

The accomodations were fantastic and Anne and Terry were graet hosts. The breakfast was amazing and the convenience of the location to Whistler Village could not be beat. A short walk on a beautiful scenic trail. We would definitely saty here again on a return trip to Whistler!

A warm welcome by the host Terry, very luxury floor (kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, livingroom, balcony with hot tub) Really cosy. A lot of "freedom" (we could use the kitchen/cook our own meal) Very beautiful area, but yet close to the main town (we walked)

We came here with my parents and stayed in the Bear and Wild West room. Ann was a great host and we enjoyed talking to her and the delicious breakfast very much. Would come back anytime.

Ann was a very nice host and made us a wonderful breakfast. It was both mine and my friends first time. Although we didnt stay long we would definitely stay there again.

My visit to Whistler and Golden Dreams BB was all too short. Wonderful room and friendly service, and great local information. Highly recommended.

What can I say, Ann made us feel very welcome and provided us with tea and biscuits upon our arrival. Sam (friendly resident Spaniel) also greeted us but sloped off gingerly when we didn't give him anything to eat. Breakfasts are healthy and varied, I particularly liked the smoothies. Ann and Sam are good entertainment in the mornings and the fantastic hot-tub can be good fun in the evenings, so much so, we booked and stayed an extra day. We like to travel and meet nice and friendly people. This time we won a golden amazing friendly family - Ann and Terry who really take care of theirs clients. Ann made our stay wonderfull with her very healthy and original breakfasts and her natural kindness. We felt like at sweethome. Have a fun over there!!!

I stayed in Golden Dreams B&B for two days and had great time. Everything is thought about, from lotions creams toothpaste to slippers, robe-de-chambre. You just need your luggage. The room was warm and cozy. (the rainforest) It was perfect for relaxing after a long day of skiing or snowboarding. The breakfast is now in my unforgettable memories. It was one of a kind and absolutely yummy. French toast with strawberries, smoothies, scrabbled eggs, homemade jams,.. Ann is an excellent chef and she cooks everything fresh for each one of her guests. It was my first time up in Whistler and Ann helped me in anyways from arranging the lift passes to where-to-find-what. I'd recommend Golden Dreams to everyone. Thanks again to Ann and Terry.

Lovely home, 3 minutes outside Whistler village. Rooms were immaculate, hot tub was great, breakfasts were lovely and the lady owner was very nice. Really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone.

Enjoyed 4 nights in the golden dreams and felt at home after walking in the door hitting down some Christmas decoration with my backpack ... just received a smile which always helps! Well managed family driven B&B which gives you a feeling to be at home while traveling - could not have asked for more! Keep up the good spirit Ann and be blessed sharing with those internationals making their way to Whistler - a job well done!

The bedroom was excellent, but the living area was the clincher for me. A wonderful place to sit and relax with a book in front of the fire, at the end of the journey. Nice location, close to the trail to the Village, but far enough away from the hustle and bustle. And Sam the Crooner is a nice memory too! Highly recommended. Will be going back there next time.

The Golde Dream is definitely a place to stay. The host is soo friendly and helpful and it has been nice talking to her. The breakfast is fresh made and just delicious. The best is the outside hot tub, just realx and watch the stars in the evening - I really enjoyed it and didn't expect it for this price. So can only recommend the place! Everything was clean as well!

WIth all the raves about Anne's breakfast, we were surprised to be served white half baked croissant and lukewarm weak coffee for breakfast. The downstairs room with twin beds was drab, dark and smelled musty. The closet had terry cloth bathrobes which smelled sour as if it had not been dried. The hostess was not available to find a plug for the bathtub. When we arrived back after dark from dinner, from the car park area, we had to grope our way to the entrance in the dark. There is a motion light but does not light until one reaches the entrance. WE have stayed at many b&b in the last 20 years. The room we were given and breakfast served should not qualify for b&b and do not meet the advertisement of this b&b.

I live here in whistler, and had a friend come up, we both stayed at golden dreams B&B and was it ever a amazing expirence! I felt like i was on a holiday myself.they make you feel at home, and very warm, they deliver to you every need,and also make amazing breakfast's!!! I most definitely enjoyed my stay and have always recommended Golden Dreams to anyone who comes to visit me in whistler! Thanks so much for making whistler a even better place to visit!

Ann is very knowledgeable of the area & has lots of good advice on what to do & where to eat. Make sure to ask her where the daily dinner specials are in the village. We took her advice & ate at the golf course & the meal was excellent & well priced. Who would have thought of that other than a local? Our room was very comfortable & the breakfast excellent. Ann takes a lot of pride in her home, her town & her breakfasts.

Ann Spence, hostest/proprieter of Golden Dreams B&B is the hostess with the mostest! At the height of summer we were lucky to stay at the Golden Dreams B&B for a very affordable price. The location is peaceful, the rooms homely and comfortable, Ann's cooked breakfast delicious and most importantly her hospitality and knowledge of the area and goings on is outstanding. Totally recommend.

We stayed one night for the first time and did not regret it. Impeccably clean, close to the ski hill and quiet nights is exactly what we look for in a B & B. The home made, delicious breakfast served with care and abundance plus Ann's warmth will bring us back again.

The hot-tub was perfect after skiing. The sherry was a lovely touch.

Stopping over at Whistler we picked a B&B at random from internet. It turned out a good place to stay: the three basic items (bed, breakfast and shower) were all excellent! Additionally a hot tub on the deck - great at night after dinner - and warm hospitality make it a perfect address to stay. George

We stayed for four nights in June 2008 and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The room was clean, comfortable and homely, the guest lounge was a treat, and the breakfasts were to die for. The hosts Ann and Terry were both friendly and very welcoming. Thoroughly recommended.

I visit Golden Dreams for business trips, unfortunately. Most helpful with info update for activities & events in Whistler. Most accomodating & well planned system for awkward travel hours, even in adverse winter weather conditions. It's so comfortable, it's my home away from home, and better!Many thanks.
