If you are mold-sensitive, and staying in the rainy months, request an upstairs room. We were on the basement/ground level and found our room a little musty. There was no telephone in the room; perhaps everyone is assumed to have a cell phone these days. The location is excellent, and the facilities (including a sitting room for guests and the use of a kitchen) are very good. The breakfasts were good, but not memorable.

We really enjoyed our stay at Marketa's. Marketa and her staff were super friendly. The breakfasts were yummy and very filling. The shared kitchen outside our room was a nice plus. Everyone was great with our toddler.

I enjoy Marketa's every time I stay! I have stayed in a few different rooms in the house and enjoyed each one. It is close to the waterfront and downtown, very central. The staff are great and the breakfast is brilliant! I look forward to staying again and 'Thanks Marketa' for making this such a great place to come back to! J.Leangen
