We stayed here two nights and found it to be very nice. Jennifer and Cal were very hospitable. Jen provided us a map and gave us recommendations on where to eat. She showed us the accommodations and everything was as good or better than advertised. They could be easily reached via doorbell if anything was needed, but were not nosey at all. The room and area was quiet at night. Best of all, we woke up to two superb meals each morning. Thank you Fisher House for a wonderful experience.

I returned to Fisher House as it is near to downtown, not too over the top when it comes to period decor, has off-street parking, has reasonable rates and the food is good. There wasn't any choice given for breakfast time, which was fine on this particular stay, but if I had been staying for work reasons I would have needed to eat earlier, so I don't know if that was possible or not. One thing I'd like just to point out that would be a good thing to have is a reflector on the outside stone wall by the drive-way. It would make backing in much easier. But I would recommend to stay here.

We walked on to the Coho Ferry from Pt Angeles and strolled through the quaint James Bay neighborhood to stay at this stunning B & B. Jennifer is an excellent host who also loves to cook so our breakfast was absolutely beautifully presented and very tasty. All details in this home are exceptional, you will love returning to a time when decor is handmade with quality materials and craftsmanship. Highly recommend!

The Fisher House B&B is probably one of the nicest we've ever stayed in. The décor is tasteful, spotlessly clean and comfortable. The only room available with ensuite was already booked, and so we chose the "Florence" and had to walk down the hallway to our own private bath. Since we're seniors, this might have been more of an issue for our nighttime visits, however, we were pleased to see that there is a watercloset right across the hall. Breakfast was delicious, substantial and beautifully presented. The location in James Bay is ideal for anyone who wishes to leave the car parked and walk to all the many nearby sights and shopping. We look forward to visiting again and heartily recommend this lovely B&B. Do let Jennifer suggest restaurants. She's a wonderful cook herself and her suggestions are perfect.

We loved the situation of the B&B, close to the sea and the city centre. Victoria is so welcoming, and so was our hostess and her stand in - Mum! We enjoyed the variety of breakfasts and had a very comfortable room. It was lovely to meet up with other guests who shared tips on what to visit too.

We stayed in the Eleanor En-Suite for 3 nights and absolutely loved it. Very comfortable, and the innkeeper, Jennifer couldn't have been more pleasant. The location in Victoria is convenient to all the downtown sites and restaurants too, without being in the middle of the hubbub. The breakfasts were delicious and always included a nice fresh fruit cup. We would definitely stay there again!

This B&B was satisfactory, but nothing special. It has a good location and you can walk to several site in Victoria. Breakfast was marginal for a B&B - food seemed store bought and not very creative. Inn keepers were not very accessible to help and disappeared the minute they set out the breakfast. Price was reasonable.
Yikes! Are you sure you were at Fisher House? If you were, please tell me what I made that day so I don't make it again. Store bought? Ouch. I make every breakfast fresh and put great care into the menu planning, so this is unusual to hear. Sorry about your experience. We usually come out to the guests several times to make sure everyone is doing well and has everything they need. Not sure what happened. We thank you for your review and letting us know how we can improve for your next stay. Warmest, Jen

Clean, quiet, and comfortable room. Good location within walking distance to downtown Victoria. Jennifer was a very good hostess, with good knowledge about Victoria, places to go and things to do. Breakfast was very nice and it was fun to visit with the other guests at the table.
Thank you! We always have such interesting conversations around the table-half the fun of a B and B! Thanks for coming! Warmest, Jen

From booking, which was seamless, to check-in, which was wonderfully seamless also, to departure, the stay was terrific. Jen provided great service prior to check-in, and upon arrival, she booked our whale watching, gave great restaurant recommendations, and directions. Room was clean, quaint, and breakfast delicious.
