Cottage Pirouette Bed and Breakfast
-
The front garden of Cottage Pirouette B & B is ever-changing with the seasons...
Azalea is our first choice for special occasions. A loveseat (not visible in photo) gives you more seating. With pretty, ceramic-tiled ensuite bath.
Rose room faces the back garden with pond. Can be made to a king!
Camellia room faces the front garden, and has a lovely ensuite bath.
As Sakura is on the main floor, it's a good choice for those that have problems with stairs. Pretty ensuite bath with a full bathtub and shower.
Homemade waffles and fresh fruit. Canadian maple syrup. Hmmm.
Enjoy the outdoor hot tub. Robes provided!
Fleming Beach, just a block away, hosts sport fishing, rock-climbing cliffs, and diving. the walkway around the beach takes you to historic Macaulay Point, where gun empalacements from 100 years ago, still stand un-used. The views are stunning.
Cottage Pirouette at Christmas
Vancouver Island is surrounded by water. Your bed and breakfast is just moments from several kinds of beaches.
The "cottage" in the name is for "friendly", but the house is huge. Lots of parking & safe bike storage.
Sakura room, on the main floor, can also be made into a king.

Relaxed setting, and a great variety of beds and bedrooms. Hot tub under the stars, or short walk to the beach. Friendly hosts, serving hearty Canadian, or optional Japanese breakfast. Fall asleep to the sounds of the water falling gently into the koi pond in the back garden.

Lorraine was the best hostess. She gave us great information about the town and area. She worked around our kids' food choices. The house is quaint and is a great location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
4.2 out of 5A return trip as memorable and comfortable as the original!
August 09, 2011
My husband and I stayed at Cottage Pirouette for 11 of our 13 nights in BC last month (July). Lorraine is a warm and genuine hostess who facilitates her guests making new friends from around the world. Her children (teens-young adults) are polite, hospitable and helpful as well. We found the location to be ideal- a quiet residential neighbourhood and only a few blocks from two of the most scenic waterfront parks in Esquimalt, with bus service at the door, and off-street parking for our rental car. Her 'green home' meshed well with our own values of recycling, composting, and using the sun and wind to dry laundry! We felt at home and at ease, and will definitely stay with Lorraine on our next trip to Victoria.
4.2 out of 5Memorable stay at Cottage Pirouette
July 31, 2011
In June 2011 my friends and I stayed at Cottage Pirouette for three nights, in Daffodil, Wisteria and Camellia. The rooms were nicely decorated and everything was beautifully clean. Two of the rooms share a bathroom, but it's huge with an excellent shower and plenty of towels available. Lorraine is a wonderful host, providing tea and cake on arrival and always ready with helpful information. The location is good too, less than 10 minutes drive into Victoria in a pleasant suburb. I thoroughly recommend this b&b. We've stayed there twice now and wouldn't hesitate to come back.
