4.0 out of 5Perfect for your next retreat!
May 17, 2010
Our hosts were very hospitable and helpful. Everything was clean and we were encouraged to relax. This is the ideal place to go for a retreat away from the big city.
4.6 out of 5Great Honeymoon Spot
March 22, 2008
We spent six nights in the Honeysuckle Cottage for our honeymoon. It was great having breakfast delievered in the morning, and gentle questions about what information we might need for the day. We enjoyed wandering through the woods behind the B&B and the cultivated grounds. We spent plenty of time in the hottub, which is quite secluded and private, and grilled out one night. The wood-burning stove was great, and kept the place warm. And the port kept in the room for guest enjoyment was very tasty.
4.4 out of 5Fabulous!
January 07, 2008
We had such a delightful time staying at the Honeysuckle Cottage. The attention to detail was much appreciated. Breakfasts were delicious. All and all a memorable experience. Highly recommended for a private, romantic getaway.
3.8 out of 5Beautiful setting
August 25, 2007
We returned to Vancouver Island, where we honeymooned, to celebrate our 20th anniversary. The 10 acre setting is beautiful, and we loved the hot tub overlooking the trout pond and surrounded by mature forest. The breakfasts are wonderful, and we enjoyed chatting with the people in the other 2 rooms at breakfast. Unfortunately, the bed in the Garden Room needs to be replaced. Both my husband and I sank toward the middle of the bed, which happens when a mattress gets old. The hosts were so nice we didn't mention the mattress problem directly to them, and I wondered if they knew or not. Also, the jacuzzi tub in our room had some slight problem when we were there; we were warned to not fiddle with the jets because of it so we used the outdoor hot tub instead. I found the couch and chairs in our room and in the sitting room a bit low to be comfortable. The room could have used a bit more natural light. The chocolates, flowers and fireplace were great.
