"I recently stayed 4 nights at Janela de Marcia, and in my opinion it is the best place to stay in Florianopolis. The bed and breakfast was situated right next to Lagoa de Conceicao, which is a very safe and desirable area with many options for dining and nightlife. The location is also situated in the center of the island, making it an ideal base from which to explore all of Florianopolis. The rooms were spacious and charmingly decorated, while the property's garden created a truly relaxing ambiance. Every morning Marcia prepared an amazing breakfast that was delicious as well as healthy! Most importantly, Marcia is really the best host someone could hope for. She speaks English fluently, has excellent knowledge of the island, and engages you with a warm personality that really makes a world of difference. I highly recommend Janela de Marcia for anyone traveling to Floripa. Erin"
