  • This is the view from the Sugar Loaf Mountain, one of Rios most beautiful atractions, wich you can reach from my house within a 20 minutes walk. Botafogo beach with Christ the Redeemer behind it and Flamengo beach to the right. The apartment is located in a quiet street surrounded by nature. From the window you can appreciate the richness of our flora.

    Hi, my name is Luiz. Are you looking for a comfortable bedroom in a cozy apartment that is very central and close to all the main attractions that you find in Rio like the Sugar Loaf and the Corcovado? Then look no further. I have a lovely comfortable Bedroom with your own Bathroom on the top floor of my apartment that is perfect for a couple. It has one double bed, air conditioning, ceiling fan, internet and a private bathroom just for you. The price is US$75 for a couple/night and this includes the breakfast. The apartment is near Botafogo Beach and all the facilities, like malls (2) and cinemas (16). Botafogo and Flamengo beaches are famous for its parks and gardens made by Burle Marx; a great place for walking and jogging with a wonderful view of the Sugar Loaf. But the best thing about my place is the location. Half way to all the main attractions that you may want to go. 10 minutes to the Sugar Loaf (I usually go walking; 15 minutes to the lift that brings you up to the Corcovado; 10 min. to Copacabana Beach or 20 to Ipanema and 15 min. to Lapa. I'm a separated 50 years old Graphic Designer and have a girlfriend that usually spends the weekends with me. The kitchen is fully equipped and you are free to use it. A healthy breakfast is provided. Still want more? OK, I can lend you my bike once in a while, but please don't ask for my surfboard! See you in Rio! Cheers.

    Being happy in Rio :)

    Luis is a very helpful, friendly and hospitable guy. He welcomed us and made ¿¿us feel at home! The apartment is very nice and tastefully furnished. It is located in a convenient location to visit Rio. The bedroom is pretty, with air conditioning and a PC connected to internet; the bathroom is sideway to the room and is very comfortable and spacious. Luis' breakfast is excellent and we also could use the kitchen. So, what to say more? We recommend!!!

    Fomos bem recebidos pelo Luis e sua namorada e passamos uma semana excelente em seu apartamento. O apartamento é muito bonito, limpo, organizado e decorado com muito bom gosto! O quarto é bem confortável, possui ar condicionado, ventilador e um PC com internet, com um banheiro logo ao lado! O café da manha estava ótimo e também pudemos utilizar a cozinha. O ap é pertinho da praia de Botafogo, Shopping center e de onibus e metro para os principais pontos turísticos. Também nos sentimos bem seguros inclusive a noite. Resumindo: só podemos recomendar! Com certeza voltaríamos! Luis und ihre Freundin sind tolle Gastgeber, wir haben wunderschöne Tage in Rio verbracht. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön, sauber und organisiert, und wurde sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Das Zimmer ist sehr bequem, mit Klimaanlage, Ventilator, Internet und ein eigenes Badezimmer direkt daneben. Die Lage ist sehr sicher und in der nähe von Strände und öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel zu den berühmten Sehenswürdigkeiten wie der Zuckerhut (sogar 20 - 30min zu Fuß), Copacabana, usw. Es waren tolle Tage und wir können es nur weiter empfehlen!

    La verdad q la pasamos muy bien el departamento de Luiz tiene una ubicacion muy practica para recorrer Rio, muy cerca de las paradas de omnibus y metro, ademas de ser segura para caminar a toda hora. Su departamento es realmente agradable y lindo, el dormitorio con una cama muuuuy comoda, con aire acondicionado, ventilador y una cpu con internet la verdad no podes quejarte con un baño al lado que todo esta separado del resto del departamento q te da una gran privacidad. El comedor, estar y cocina son unos espacios en donde nos sentimos como en casa, con un diseño y limpieza que te dan ganas de quedarte todo el dia. La verdad que volvimos muy contentos y disfrutamos de esta experienca, Luiz es una gran persona nos ayudo con muchisimas cosas y nos gusto conocerlo es muy divertido y solidario, estamos muy agradecidos la pasamos muy bien!!! Nos vemos pronto.

    Great Place, Great Host!

    Luis is an amazing host. His house is beautiful, very tastefully decorated, and his breakfast are delicious. He really goes out of his way to make you feel welcome and I had a wonderful stay there.

      20 minutes (with no traffic) from the International Airport by taxi (around R$50) direction Botafogo. Tell the driver to go via Santa Barbara tunnel that will lead you straight to Botafogo. Or, if you are backpacking you can take the bus (Airport - Alvorada via Botafogo, R$12) and tell the driver to warn you when you reach Praia de Botafogo. It's around 200 meters to my place. When you get to my building go to the second one in the back (bloco 2).
